Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

We will leave Nairobi at 07:30 and drive toward the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will arrive in the Mara in time for lunch at your camp, followed by an afternoon game drive until late afternoon.

The Masai Mara National Reserve is now the New 7th Wonder of the World and the 4th most preferred tourist destination in the world.

After your game drive, return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Game Drive in Masai Mara National Reserve

Today, we will be going on a game-viewing drive all day! The Mara, as it is popularly known, remains the most exciting wildlife ecosystem. The Masai Mara reserve hosts the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals of any other park in the region. The scenic appeal of this tree-studded savannah plains, its moderate climate and the diversity of wild game species make it a one-stop shop for game-viewing activities.

We will traverse the reserve for a full day of unlimited game viewing, encountering the Big Five and more of the lesser game. You will visit the Mara River, where you may watch hippos and crocodiles, or the great migration (July – October).

After your full-day game drive, return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Extensive Game Drive in Masai Mara National Reserve

Spend another day on wildlife-viewing drives. You may choose to have a full-day game drive or game drives in separate sessions, so you can also enjoy the lodge/camp facilities. The driver-guide will be readily available to discuss your daily activities, depending on your preferences.

There is also an opportunity to experience a hot-air balloon ride and float over the Masai Mara plains as you watch wildlife (extra cost).

After another full-day game drive, return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi

We will have an early-morning game drive, then return to the camp for breakfast before driving back to Nairobi. There will be a stopover in Narok town for lunch. After lunch, proceed to Nairobi. On arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel or the airport for your flight back home.
