Professional and understanding of a family safari with young children
We travelled as a family of 4 with 2 kids (ages 2 and 4). We organised our own accommodation and contacted MC FLASH to enquire about a driver and safari guide from nairobi to amboseli national park. Other family members has used this company and had recommended
Peter from MC Flash, contacted me swiftly via WhatsApp with all relevant details. I found this very informative and Peter was very flexible with out needs, e.g. additonal car seats for each child with no additional cost. He was not pushy.
Our driver and guide, Anthony, was professional, prompt and very kind and understanding of our young family. He was a careful driver on challenging roads, gave us good advice about drive times to suit us but was very flexible. He was good at spotting wildlife, with good knowledge and shared his brilliant binoculars.
We travelled the 5 hour journey to amboselli on day one, enjoyed lunch and a quick swim on our arrival at our safari lodge (Kilma safari lodge, great for kids), before a late afternoon game drive, with the highlight of elephants close up.the second day was a 7am start (our choice) with a picnic breakfast to see more animals. Back for lunch and a swim before another, shorter late afternoon game drive. Day 3 we check out and set off back to nairobi via amboseli national park for a few hours.
It's a lot of driving for young children and he was very tolerant of their noise. At their age it was the right duration and more time spend driving would have been too much I think.
Peter was really good at communicating.

A great tour!
We had a wonderful 10 day safari in Kenya and Tanzania! We saw lots of animals including the big 5 on our 1st drive!
Our guides, Simon and John were amazing and the accommodations were terrific! Simon and John were very considerate and knowledgeable.
There were 2 questions about our plans and payment during the Tanzania segment. Peter from Africa Flash was quick to respond through WhatsApp and was able to resolve the problem.
Would highly recommend!
Exceeds Expectations
I was booked for a 2-week tour in South Africa starting in late September and decided to add a short trip to Kenya on the front end to try and catch some of the Great Migration. I arranged a 4-day 3-night custom trip with Peter at Africa Flash McTours and convinced one of the friends traveling on the South Africa portion to join me in Kenya. It far exceeded our expectations. We were driven to the airport in Nairobi and took a short flight to an airstrip in the Masai Mara. We quickly connected with our private driver, Felix, and we were on our way with our first safari. We started seeing animals within 5 minutes of starting the drive. Felix spent the next couple hours driving us around as we got oriented to the new landscape and all it had to offer. As we neared lunchtime, he drove to the lodge (Soroi Luxury Migration Camp) which was a new small lodge (holds < 20 visitors) only a couple years old and situated on a river. The tents were roomy and well-appointed with king size beds as well as a separate room with a desk and single bed, en suite facilities, a large viewing window overlooking the river, and a spacious verandah with comfortable chairs to sit in and enjoy the neighboring wildlife. The food was amazing and the overall service impeccable. Besides the daily safaris, I also had Peter include an early morning Hot Air Balloon ride over the savannah, and a Sundowner one evening. Both were really worth the money. The balloon ride gives you a unique perspective of the area with a bird’s eye view of groups of migrating animals, herds of antelope, and elephants feeding by the river. It was followed by a buffet champagne breakfast in the bush where a huge nearby herd of zebras ignored us and eventually surrounded us (in a good way!). For the sundowner I thought we’d get 2 chairs, 2 glasses, and a bottle of wine. We got MUCH more with fresh cooked appetizers and a bartender tending a mini bar to provide us with refreshments while we watched the sunset. We did a LOT in those few days, and it was incredible. We even managed to see the Big Five and some herds of Cape Buffalo/Wildebeest/Zebras of the end of the 2025 Great Migration.
When I decided on going to Kenya, I made a short list of what I was looking for in a camp and activities and sent emails to several of the smaller local operators. I chose Africa Flash McTours for their competitive price, willingness to modify as needed, and the fantastic responsiveness considering the 9-hour time difference. I was not disappointed. Truly an amazing trip.
Made A Dream Safari Come True
Starting seven years ago through a work project, I dreamt of going to Ol Pejeta Conservancy and see the last two Northern White Rhinos. After some 2025 summer plans fall through, I saw the opportunity to make the dream possible and I went looking for a tour company that would be able to get me to Ol Pejeta for at least two days within my budget as a solo female traveler. After combing through many different safari companies and their offerings, I saw Africa Flash McTours & Travel and they had a two-night, three-day safari to Ol Pejeta within my budget and at the accommodation that I wanted to stay at (Serena Sweetwaters, which was a wonderful place to stay as the staff was great) as it was within Ol Pejeta itself. Before going on trip, my email correspondence with Peter was great. He answered my questions and concerns. For my trip itself, I had Felix as my driver/guide. Because it was just me, he was very flexible on what we did for all of our game drives. He was knowledgeable and friendly. And yes, I got to see the last two Northern White Rhinos. I think that for me and my limited time in Kenya, the safari was a perfect pick. I hope that the next time I'm in Africa, I will book with Africa Flash McTours again.

Unforgettable Safari and Beach Escape in Kenya
Our safari in Kenya was an unforgettable adventure! From the moment we started planning, the owner, Peter, made everything easy—always responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Our driver/guide was reliable and got us safely to where we needed to be. The game drives and animal sightings were absolutely incredible. We loved every moment of seeing the animals up close in their natural habitat. The accommodations at each hotel were comfortable and well-managed, and ending our journey with a relaxing stay at the Diani Beach Resort was the perfect touch. Truly a trip we’ll never forget!
