Your adventure begins with an early morning meet and greet at around 06:30 hrs by our representative at your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). After a short safari briefing, depart for Samburu National Reserve, enjoying the scenic drive through Kenya's central highlands.
Arrive at Ashnil Samburu Camp in time for lunch and check-in. After some time to relax and enjoy the camp's facilities, head out on an afternoon game drive in search of the reserve's remarkable wildlife. Samburu is home to the famous Samburu Special Five—the Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk—as well as elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, crocodiles, and numerous bird species. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Wake up early for a morning game drive when wildlife is most active and the soft golden light provides excellent photography opportunities.
Explore this beautiful semi-arid wilderness along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in search of elephants, big cats, the Samburu Special Five, antelopes, and a wide variety of birdlife.
Return to the camp for breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning at leisure or take an optional visit to a traditional Samburu Manyatta (US$35 per person) to learn about the fascinating culture, traditions, dances, and daily lifestyle of the Samburu people. Enjoy lunch at the camp before heading out for another afternoon game drive to further explore this unique ecosystem. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, located in the heart of the Great Rift Valley.
Arrive in time for lunch and check in at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge. After some relaxation, enjoy an afternoon game drive in this picturesque national park.
Lake Nakuru National Park is internationally renowned as a birdwatcher's paradise and is home to over 450 bird species. The park also provides one of Kenya's best opportunities to see both the endangered black and white rhinoceroses. Other wildlife includes Rothschild's giraffes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks, baboons, and many other mammals. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
