Upon arrival you will be met by our representative who will drive you to the exquisite Sweetwater’s Tented Camp; in the secluded heart of the Ol pejeta Ranch and Rhino sanctuary. After check-in you will enjoy a hot lunch. Sweetwater’s is located inside a private ranch that supports a large number of wildlife that includes elephant, giraffe and more. In the evening you can sit around camp and watch the wildlife roam around while you enjoy dinner and then settle in for your overnight stay.

Day 2

Ol Pejeta - Samburu

After breakfast you will check-out of camp and begin your journey further north to Samburu Game Reserve, located high above the banks of the life-giving Uaso Nyiro River in the Shaba Game Reserve. Upon arrival in the reserve, you will check-in at the Sarova Shaba Game Lodge where lunch will be served. In the afternoon, you will embark on a game drive in the reserve, renowned for its unique species of animals that includes Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Generuk and the Gravy’s Zebra among others. Later in the evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3

Before dawn our driver guide will take you out for an early morning search of the big cats on the hunt. Later in the morning you will return to the lodge for breakfast and then have some time to relax by the swimming pool before you take off on the next game drive in the late afternoon. Later in the evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4

Samburu - Lake Nakuru

Samburu - Lake Nakuru

After an early breakfast you will check-out of the lodge and depart south through Isiolo, crossing the northernmost foothills of Mount Kenya to Nanyuki town. You will then head west to Nyahururu Falls, still known to many as Thomson's Falls. After a brief stopover at the falls, you will drive southward to Lake Nakuru National Park, home to a million pink flamingos that
line its shores. In the afternoon you will take an evening game drive around the lake shore and then drive to the Lake Nakuru Lodge where you will check-in, have dinner and enjoy your overnight stay.

Day 5

Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara

Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara

After an early breakfast you will check-out and depart the flamingo fringed Lake Nakuru, traveling southward and turn right at Maai Mahiu; ascending up and over the top of the Mau Escarpment to Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival in the reserve, you will check-in at the Ilkeliani Camp and enjoy lunch. After lunch and some time to relax and perhaps take a dip in the pool, you will depart for an afternoon game drive in search of the “Big Five”. As the sun starts to dip into the horizon, it will be the perfect time to take some memorable photographs of the beautiful rolling plains. This is also the perfect time to spot the shy and elusive leopard. After sunset, you will return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Your day will start with an early morning game drive before dawn and later returning to camp for breakfast and some time to relax. After your rest, perhaps you will take a dip at the swimming pool before you return to the wilderness for an evening game drive in search of more wildlife. After your drive you will return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Depending on your travel time, you may enjoy an optional dinner at Carnivore Restaurant at an extra cost; before being transferred to the airport for your flight back home or to your hotel in Nairobi. This is where your safari will end.
