Arrival and Soweto Tour

Upon arrival at O.R Tambo, you will be picked up by the hotel shuttle; after checking in you meet your tour guide for your Soweto tour which includes among others, a visit to Mandela's former residence. After returning to your guest house, you will enjoy a buffet-style dinner before a restful night’s sleep.

Panorama Route Highlights and arrival in Hoedspruit

After an early morning departure from the airport with an overland shuttle you make your way to Ohrigstad, where you'll be met by your private guide. Enjoy the scenic sights of the iconic Panorama Route of the Northern Drakensberg Escarpment; with its canyon, viewpoints and waterfalls. You will reach your boutique bush lodge in the late afternoon, and enjoy a scrumptious dinner prepared by your host.

Kruger Park Safari

We pick you up at your lodge with our open safari vehicle (OSV) in the morning, and proceed to Orpen Gate and soon begin our first game drive to see the Big and the Little 5, as well as many other animals. We have lots of time to take in the full serenity of the African morning as we have breakfast at one of the picnic spots (breakfast package prepared by the lodge). Lunch is on own account at one of the shops or picnic spots.

After a full day safari we check in at the rest camp, and you've got some time to unwind in your Kruger standard bungalow before exploring the camp which boasts a curio + convenience store, pool and restaurant. Dinner is prepared for you by your guide.

Kruger Park Safari

We have breakfast at the camp (prepared by your guide) and after checking out, start our second day of safari. We will take a different route back toward the north for even more brilliant game viewing opportunities and have a quick lunch at one of the picnic spots (own account).

In the evening, our guide prepares an authentic African braai for you to celebrate your African adventure. You will spend the night in a comfortable bungalow.

Return to Johannesburg via Panorama Route

After a snack from the park shop (own account) we go on our last morning game drive. Back at Hoedspruit you board your shared shuttle at 11 am, that takes you back to OR Tambo Airport, where your tour ends at ca 18.00.
