As you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Arusha, Tanzania, you will be met and transferred by road to the charming Rivertrees Country Inn (once an old coffee farm), situated at the foothills of Mt. Meru and overlooking Mt. Kililmanjaro in Arusha. This is a very nostalgia and much loved thatcher homestead surrounded by 10 acres of lush and verdant parkland, inhabited by rare and exotic birds and other wildlife. Enjoy an evening dinner made form selected garden fresh ingredients used in old family recipes, an artisanal pizza and some of the greatest coffee in the world. This is an unpretentious haven set in a timeless travellers journey.. A fabulous spot of genuine earth and friendliness from where to unwind and relax before starting your great safari in this Big Five country of reserves. Having hosted German Presidents, the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall you can expect to be well looked after. You'll spend one evening here before starting off your Tanzania safari.

Depart Rivertrees Country Inn and arrive 2.5 hours later in the authentic, luxury tented camp of Kuro Tarangire. Located in the game-rich Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania's most popular parks, it offers the quintessential safari experience. Full of heart and soul you can expect to enjoy a serene couple of nights in this beautiful camp. The day will commence with a morning game drive with your guide through the big country, along riverbanks and giant baobabs to see lions, leopards and elephants, among a plethora of other wild animals. Discover Tarangire's creatures of the night on the evening game drives, like hyena, zorilla or the nocturnal porcupine. A highlight is to spend a couple of hours on foot for a bush walk with your highly trained guide discovering Africa's plants and animals up-close. You'll depart from Kuro Tarangire and drive 4.5 hours to the Entamanu Ngorongoro lodge located off the beaten track, in Masaai territory, on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Panoramic views of this world heritage site and ancient volcanic crater and plains, leave visitors in awe. You have now entered a realm where only the most intrepid of explorers have historically roamed with nature. Enjoy the spellbinding game drives, amazing cuisine and wide views of this famous crater from your vehicle as well as your tented rooms. End of Itinerary
End of Itinerary
In the morning, you will depart from Serengeti Safari Camp after a hearty breakfast, pack your final belongings and say some heartfelt goodbyes after and experience of a lifetime. You will board a light aircraft flight back to Kilimanjaro International Airport arriving at 13h15, before your onward flights to your home country destination.
