Nairobi - Masai Mara

After breakfast in your hotel or the airport in Nairobi, you will be picked up by your professional guide and depart the Nairobi region for the Masai Mara with lunch en route. We drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you will have a chance to take photos with a great view of the valley. Proceed to the Masai Mara National Reserve and have lunch at Narok town. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains, famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration. It is home to the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino. On arrival, you will have an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight are at the Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network, which allows for close-range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight are at the camp.
