You will be picked up from Kampala by our English speaking driver who will also double as your tour guide. Drive to Jinja passing by the SSezibwa falls on the way. Sezzibwa falls are located in Mukono district and have for ages been preserved as a traditional cultural site by the Buganda community.
The adventure will continue through Mabira forest, the largest forest in East Africa, in Buikwe district where adventurers will be rewarded with a refreshing 2 hour nature guided walk with lots of birds to see. Arrive at Jinja and embark on a boat ride at the source of River Nile, the longest River in Africa. Retire to lodging in Jinja for a relaxing evening and a beautiful night’s sleep as you await more adventures with our safari holidays pack.

Day 2
Drive to Mbale

Have breakfast in the morning and fuel up for your second day of the Uganda complete safari pack. You will have the opportunity to visit the Itanda falls in Jinja where the White Nile rafting starts. The spectacular view of the falls is guaranteed to blow your mind.
Have your lunch then drive further east to Mbale district. Enjoy a breathtaking view of country life while on your journey; traditional homesteads, large farms, and endless domestic animals. Since the journey is a bit long, you will arrive late and check into Lacam lodge for a peaceful night’s rest and tasty dinner.

Your 13 days complete Uganda safari holidays pack will continue with an early morning breakfast and a hike to Sipi falls. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the falls as the Nile River falls over vast amounts of rocks before forming into a peaceful mind-blowing flow of water. You will be returned to your lodge for lunch before embarking on an afternoon drive to the Kampala district. Arrive late in Kampala and check into the hotel where you will have your dinner and a night’s rest.

Breakfast will be served at your hotel in the morning then you will drive to Murchison falls in Northwestern Uganda. Visit the Rhino sanctuary on the way where you will spend a whole hour and 30 minutes trekking rhinos. You will watch how the rhinos live; their day-to-day lives, how they find their food and how they take care of the young.
The Ziwa rhino sanctuary is a conservation area for the white southern rhinos and it is the only place in Uganda where you can find these animals. Drive further along visiting the top of the Murchison falls upon arrival in Murchison falls national park. After an amazing day of your “safari holidays”, check into Red Chilli camp in the evening for dinner and overnight rest.

You will have your breakfast in the morning then press on for a thrilling ferry ride across the Nile to the Northern bank of Murchison falls National Park. Expect to sot a variety of animals including hippos, crocodiles, and zebras. The birding display is not to disappoint as you will have a variety of bird species to delight in including the rare shoebill stork. Lunch will be provided back at the hotel.
Embark on an afternoon 1-hour hike to the top of Murchison Falls. The hike is bound to be a memorable one right from the task hike to the rewarding view of the River Nile squeezing through a narrow corridor of rock before falls over thousands of feet to form a peaceful river headed upstream. Retire to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

You will drive through various districts including; Hoima, Fort Portal enjoying a mesmerizing display of country side, traditional homesteads, large herds o cattle, a view of te Albertine rift valley, and the Rwenzori mountains.

After a warm hearty breakfast, the adventurers will be required to assemble for a short briefing before venturing into the deep jungle to find the curious chimpanzees. Kibaale forest thick vegetation harboring a variety of primates and bird species alike.
Marvel at the intriguing chimpanzees as they jump and sway from branch to branch picking up fruit in their wake. Spot other animals like monkeys hiding behind trees with the help of your expert game ranger as you are attempting to find the chimpanzees.
In the afternoon, drive further south to Queen Elizabeth national park where you will check into your safari lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

You will commence with an early morning breakfast and an amazing game drive through the park for another wildlife thrilling experience. Queen Elizabeth National park is the most visited park in Uganda with a range of wildlife including Elephants, buffalo, kob and hyenas among others. The kasenyi area lies in the north of the park in kasese district, the area is flooding with Uganda kob, lions that you can easily spot as you drive through this part of the park.
Have your lunch before heading on to the kazinga channel, a fresh water cannel that joins lakes Edward and George for a boat launch. Enjoy an endless view of Nile crocodiles and hippos as well as a massive range of birdlife to choose from. The shores provide for a magnificent experience as you watch hers of animals come to drink water and others lying around lazily as the day goes by.

Have your breakfast in the morning then go on a guided primate walk in the Kyambura gorge. The gorge stretches to 100metrees in depth below sea level and is also a natural habitat for chimpanzees. The gorge is home to other primates as well like the Black and white colobus, red-tailed monkey. Enjoy a drive through the dry crater with lots of lush savannahs.
Drive south of the park to the Ishasha sector passing by the western rift valley. This section of the park is the most visited owing to tree-climbing lions that have made the park their abode. The rare sight of a lion climbing a tree can only be found in two countries in Africa; Tanzania and this park in Uganda. You will be amazed as you watch these huge cats lie about lazily on tree branches as the day passes them by.
Embark on a 4-hour drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park and check into Buhoma community camp for dinner and overnight as you look forward to more “safari holidays” adventures.

Day 10

You will have a warm and satisfying breakfast in the morning then assemble at the park headquarters for a short briefing. You will be grouped up before heading deep into the Bwindi forest to trek the Mountain Gorillas. These gentle giants can only be trekked by a maximum of 8 people in a day to minimize stress on the animals. The forest is made of thick trees and undergrowth so expect a bit of hustling as you push aside branches and twigs.
Being a large forest, the activity can take you from 2 hours to half a day. After you have found the gorillas then, you will have the opportunity to spend at least 1 hour with them. You will watch as they go about their day-to-day life; feeding their young, gathering food.
Bwindi Impenetrable forest also has over 360 bird species as other primates as well, these your guide will point while you trek the mountain gorillas. After your day with the friendly giants, there might be a possibility to enjoy a community walk in the Buhoma community.

You will be picked up by your driver and you will be driven to Mgahinga national park. The journey is quite long but the country scenery is not to disappoint. You will pass through Kisoro regions and further to the south. The countryside is dotted with hills, cool weather, large tea plantations, large animal farms, and country homes that will keep you entertained as you enjoy your journey. Check into Kisoro traveler’s rest hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Wake up with morning breakfast and continue to Mhgahinga national park for a volcano hike. You will reach the top of the volcano. You will have a chance to see the golden monkeys before continuing on a drive to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale.
Lake Bunyonyi famous for its numerous islands protruding from the lake itself and surrounding hills nestling the neck and providing for a spectacular scenary that is bound to hold any adventurer captive. Drive to Kampala after your ride via Igongo cultural center. The center is a preservation point for the Ankole heritage. You will be able to attain information about the way of living of these people, their cultural beliefs, how they go about their day-to-day activities.
You will drive by the equator in Masaka for a brief stop and photograph taking and also have your lunch en-route before arriving in Kampala for your departure.
