Full-Day in Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is Africa's most famous and Tanzania's largest park, covering 14,736km² (1,827mi²), and is adjacent to the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. With a wildebeest population of about 2 million and several other hoofed species (which include zebra, Thomson's gazelle, impala, topi, Grant's gazelle, kongoni, eland, Kirk's dik-dik, klipspringer, roan, oryx, oribi, waterbuck, buffalo, giraffe, and warthog), the Serengeti is sure to attract a string of predators such as lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, golden jackals, and bat-eared foxes.
While elephants are relatively scarce and the few remaining black rhinoceros are restricted to the Moru Koppies area, the Serengeti also offers rewarding bird viewing. Ostrich and kori bustards are common, and a variety of larks, finches, and raptors can be seen, but the most distinctive small bird is the lilac-breasted roller. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Wild Camp.

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
After an early breakfast around 5:50am, descend the crater at 6:00am for a 6—7 hour game drive, with a picnic lunch. We venture onto the crater floor for an up-close encounter with the residents of this World Heritage Site and enjoy a picnic lunch here. The Ngorongoro Crater provides excellent game viewing all year round. The wildlife here makes up a permanent population because grazing and water supplies are plentiful throughout the seasons. Afternoon drive back to Arusha. Arrive in Arusha around 5:00pm.
NOTE: If you have booked your return flight from Nairobi, we can organize a shuttle bus from Arusha to Nairobi. The bus can drop you off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport directly or in Nairobi (in case you have to overnight for your flight on the next day).
The shuttle bus departs from Arusha to Nairobi two times a day in the morning; where you will arrive in Nairobi at 2:00pm and the other one leaves at 2:00pm and arrives in Nairobi at 8:00pm.
