Day 1

After an early arrival at the airport, you will get a very warm welcome from our professional driver-guide. You will then have a first tour briefing before you drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve. It's considered one of the largest and most beautiful protected areas of Kenya and it reveals the originality of Africa. You will arrive and check in at Enkorok Mara Camp in time for lunch. After lunch, you will have some time to relax before you embark on the first game drive through the savannah landscape of the Masai Mara National Reserve. You'll have a good chance to track down the Big Five (elephant, buffalo, lion, rhino, leopard). You will come back for dinner and your overnight stay at the tented camp.

Day 2

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will do a full-day game of game drives in the Masai Mara National Reserve. This park is famous for its savannah landscapes and its wildlife concentration per square km. The prospects are good to observe all those fascinating animals that are usually only seen in numerous nature documentaries. You will have a picnic at a site in the Mara River, bordering the Serengeti. The river is part of the Masai Mara-Serengeti ecosystem, which is particularly known for the largest wildlife migration on earth. Every year, wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes form huge animal trains across the brown, foaming river full of crocodiles.

Day 3

Masai Mara National Reserve to Lake Naivasha

Masai Mara National Reserve to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Naivasha which is the highest and most beautiful lake in the Rift Valley. Here, bird watchers will be pleased as there are over 400 documented bird species. At an altitude of 1910 m, the water is crystal clear and surrounded by thick papyrus. You will arrive and check in at Lodge in time for lunch. After a short rest, you will do a boat trip to the lake and experience more of the attractions found in the lake. Lake Naivasha is surrounded by a vast terrain, which varies in landscape. Thus you'll not only find a steppe landscape but also grass and trees close like in a local park. You may be able to observe many animals roaming around the lodge in search of food. At night it is fun to look out of the window and see hippos within a few meters of the lodge. You'll also see warthogs or even giraffes on your way. Your overnight stay and dinner will be at Lake Naivasha.

Today you will proceed to the world-famous Amboseli National Park and reach your camp in time for lunch. The afternoon will be spent just relaxing at the swimming pool where you can also watch some animals in the nearby park. Alternatively, you can take a walk with a Maasai guide to the village (optional). Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Sentrim Amboseli Lodge.

Day 5

Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Amboseli National Park and have a full-day game viewing at the park. A picnic lunch will be taken at the Observation Hill. This park jewel is not only a unique panorama of Mount Kilimanjaro but also one of the best wildlife areas to observe elephants at close quarters. Amboseli is a small park with numerous zebras, wildebeests, Thomson gazelles, Grant gazelles, buffalos, waterbucks, hippos, lions, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas. A highlight of the park is the Observation Hill, from which you will have a stunning view of the swamp and savannah landscape. You have the possibility to relax at the pool and enjoy the view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Your overnight stay will be at AA Amboseli Lodge.

Day 6

Amboseli to Tsavo East National Park

Amboseli to Tsavo East National Park

After an early morning game drive, you will proceed to Tsavo East National Park, home of the red elephants. You'll have game drives en route to Voi Safari Lodge where you will check in for lunch. After lunch, you will relax and then have afternoon game drives in the park. You will have the chance to watch zebras, buffalos, giraffes, gazelles, waterbucks, and big families of elephants. Look out also for a diversity of resident bird species which includes hornbills, eagles, kingfishers, weavers, giant bustards, storks, and marabou. At sunset, you will return to Red Elephant Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
