3-Day Kruger National Park Camping Safari

Arrival and First Game Drive

Your adventure begins at 7:45 am with a shuttle transfer from OR Tambo (Johannesburg International Airport) to Hoedspruit, the safari capital of central Kruger Park. Upon arrival at approximately 13.30 you will be met by your safari guide with an open safari vehicle. This type of car gives you a 180 degrees’ panoramic view of the African savanna with a full experience of all smells and sounds, and a perfect vantage point to see over high grasses and bushes. We will spend the afternoon on a game drive in Kruger National Park and arrive at the rest camp before dark. Your guide will set up the camp and retire for a restful night's sleep, in your tent in the middle of the African bush.

Full Day Safari

Today is the highlight of your Kruger Safari as we will spend the entire day looking for the best animal sightings. We will get up at dawn to make the most of our Kruger safari. Your guide prepares a quick coffee and snack as we get on our way. We'll spend the morning in search of all the iconic animal species including the Big Five with a professional field guide, who will frequent dams, waterholes and riverbeds where animals can be seen.

Only one dinner included of which will be a special braai prepared by your guide on your final night in the Kruger National Park to celebrate your stay. All other meals will be for your own account at the restaurant on-site, where credit cards are accepted. If you prefer something more personalized, we can also arrange a private chef at an additional cost to prepare meals for you for the 2 nights in Kruger National Park.

Morning Drive and Return to OR Tambo Airport

We will depart early on our last game drive, and reach Hoedspruit mid-morning. Your shuttle departs at 10.30 am towards OR Tambo Airport (arrival at approximately 5.30 pm), where this tour ends. Whether you continue your journey in Africa or return back home, you will take a lifetime of unforgettable memories with you of your African safari experience.
