Dar es salaam to nyerere national park

After early morning breakfast pick up and drive to Nyerere National Park. Lunch will be served en-route, proceeding with the drive to Nyerere arrived to the lodge and campsite late afternoon. We will have evening boat safari, enjoying sundown and some nocturnal animals. Dinner will be served at Ngalawa Camp where you will stay for the night.

On this day you will spend full day game drive in the plains of Nyerere National Park. Nyerere national park is reputed to be best off the beaten track wildlife safari destination away from the crowds. The park is the largest National park in Africa with is area being more than the size of Switzerland and is full of wild animals and birds’ species. Apart from the lions, leopards, giraffes, elephants, hippos, impala, hartebeests, pythons, elands, but it is the rare wild dogs that will most maze you. With a little bit of luck you will be able to see these rare incredible hunters of the African Wilderness.

Transfer from nyerere to mikumi national park

After breakfast at the lodge/camp we check out and proceed by crossing the north of Nyerere and drive to Mikumi National Park. On arrival we will go on maasai village tour near to Mikumi National Park until later in the afternoon when we drive to the lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight. Mikumi National Park is relatively less developed infrastructure but that makes the park even better because that has helped in preserving the wilderness in its natural state for many years.

Unforgettable experience

In the morning after breakfast, you will have a full day game viewing in the park. The Mikumi flood plain is the main feature of the park along with the bordering mountain ranges. Animals commonly found here include lions, elands, hartebeest, buffalo’s, wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and elephants. The Mikumi elephants are mainly grazers and do not cause tree damage. Later evening return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
