You will be landing to Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam, after clearing customs and passport control, you will walk out of the airport to meet our driver who will be holding a page board with your name clearly printed on it and he will assist to take your luggage and lead you to the Car for aa transfer to Msasani peninsula via city central,
Arrival at the Slipway Hotel for overnight with options leisure, swimming, or rest.

Day 2

Mikumi National Park

After breakfast, you will be driving to Mikumi National Park, located in west of Dar Es Salaam and on the same road, access to the park is from the main road. Once inside the park, and after completing the registration for entry, you will spend the afternoon exploring it in search of the many species of mammals that can be found here and among which we highlight, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, eland, elephants and wildebeest.
Mikumi, a popular weekend destination for the inhabitants of Dar es Salaam, is part of the great ecosystem of the Selous Reserve and offers a savannah landscape surrounded by some hills that mark the boundaries of the park. Arrival in the afternoon we will settle in, then free afternoon to rest and enjoy the views.
Overnight at Mikumi Tanapa Bandas.

Day 4

Drive to Ruaha National Park

Drive to Ruaha National Park

We will drive to Ruaha National Park, possibly the best-known park in southern Tanzania and the home to Great Kudu. The paved road gives way immediately to a dirt track in good condition, screened by a landscape of bush savannah and some villages that accompany you to the main gate of the park.
The area was declared a protected area in 1910 by the German colonial government. In 1946 the British administration renamed it the Great Rungwa Reserve, part of which became a national park in 1964.
Once you have arrived in the afternoon, necessary arrangements to enter the park we be made, before continuing with safari en-route to enjoy your first safari in Ruaha until sunset.

Day 5-6

Great Ruaha National Park

Great Ruaha National Park

You will have two days to explore and experience the Great Ruaha National Park which, at 20,226 Km2 is one of the largest in Tanzania. The park borrows its name from the Great Ruaha River, which flows through the park from north to southeast. Ruaha is famous for harboring one of the largest concentrations of elephants in East Africa, as well as large antelopes including kudu, sable antelope and roan antelope. It also boasts a huge population of African wild dogs or African wild dogs and big cat like lions, leopards.
The park is also a great center for bird watching, with nearly 500 different species, many of which are migratory. As far as the landscape is concerned, large baobabs and different species of acacias will accompany us throughout the day, options with walking safari in the Ruaha Park area accompanied by armed rangers.

Day 7

Drive to Morogoro

Drive to Morogoro

You will leave Ruaha Park behind to head, in a long journey by road, to the mountains of Udzungwa and its national park via Iringa town “Chief Mkwawa City” and Kilombero, known for hosting the largest sugar factory.
In route sightseeing will be continued toward the Morongoro region, on the way we will pass through several local villages and agricultural compositions accompanied by the hills of Mount Uluguru.
Upon arrival we will settle in the hotel, free to rest and spend the night.

After breakfast you will leave the area heading to the Nyerere National Park pass through villages and a beautiful landscape, estimate arrival for late noon safari until sunset within Nyerere Park (formally Selous game reserve) towards the Lodge

You will spend the whole day on safari in our pop-up roof safari vehicle. Nyerere National Park, the great ecosystem remains, anticipating to offer opportunity to explore the natura along fauna and flora.
Its wildlife is particularly interesting, with many big cats and with a very interesting fact: it is the reserve that houses the largest number of African wild dogs (African wild dogs) and that, in our day, are in jeopardy of elimination. Along with its territory also resides an important population of buffaloes, giraffes, eland, hyenas, sable antelope, hippopotamuses, crocodiles, kudus, baboons, wildebeests, zebras and green monkeys, along with more than 450 species of birds. The experience will include a one boat safari for 2hours along Rufiji River and walking safari in Nyerere Park with armed ranger
