Day 1

This morning, we pick up clients from their hotel. We depart from Nairobi at 8:30 a.m. and drive towards Tsavo East National Park. The park is a vast expansion of the African savannah with a more diverse array of habitats, including open plains, semi-desert scrub, woodland, Chyulu Hills, and rocky outcrops. It’s famous for red elephants, oryx, and gerenuk, among other mammal species and birdlife.

Other notable features include Mzima Springs, a water source for Mombasa Town, Shetani Lava Flow, and ash cones, evidence of a recent volcanic eruption. Dinner and overnight are at the camp or lodge.

Day 2

Tsavo East - Tsavo West National Park

Tsavo East - Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast, start the scheduled morning game drive in Tsavo East National Park. The extensive, diverse habitats offer an ideal area to search for prides of lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and wildebeests. At Mzima Springs, underground water seepage from Chyulu Hills is a good place to watch the hippos. There is also a wealth and diversity of bird species. Depart to Tsavo East, arriving in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight are at Ngulia Safari Lodge.

You have a full day to spend searching the vast Tsavo plains for game. The park offers opportunities to see almost every kind of flora and fauna, as well as numerous species of birds. From lions to elephants, giraffes to zebras, and different species of antelopes, Tsavo is the place to be.

Day 4

Tsavo West - Amboseli National Park

Tsavo West - Amboseli National Park

Today, you will start with an early morning game drive, followed by breakfast. You will then depart with a game drive en route to Amboseli National Park. Located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the park has many animals, and the fact that it is a plain, makes sighting animals much easier. On a clear day, you will be able to see the tallest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight are at the Amboseli Sentrim Lodge.
