Zanzibar - Flight to Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve)

Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport for a short flight to the magical Nyerere National Park, previously known as Selous Game Reserve. Upon arrival at Mtemere Airstrip our driver guide will provide to you a tour plan. No doubt that this vast wilderness boasts diverse African treasures, including wildlife, birds, rivers, lakes, and more. Keep an eye out for elephants, zebras, giraffes, hippos, and a myriad of other captivating creatures.

Packed lunch will be saved at a designated picnic site, then the adventure continues with more game drives, taking you into the enchanting African wilderness until the sun sets. Late in the evening, we will escort you to Ngalawa Camp for a delightful dinner and a peaceful sleep.

Explore Nyerere National Park & Boat Ride (Selous Game Reserve)

Early breakfast at the Camp followed by a full day of Game Viewing, Today you will navigate the Rufiji river in search of more game including Buffaloes, Lions, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Hippos, Impalas, Hartebeests, Waterbucks, Elands, Bushbucks, Leopards, Crocodiles, Hyenas, Wild dog, Elephants and 445 deferent birds species.

You will return for a late hot lunch at the Camp, afternoon you set off for an amazing Boat Safari from 16: 30Hrs all the way to sunset at Rufiji river in Selous. The river Boat ride will allow you to see number of crocodiles basking on the river banks, hippos growling, primates swinging on tree branches and abundant of water birds as sun sets down..

After a Boat Ride, drive back Later in the evening you will drive back to Ngalawa Campsite for Dinner and Overnight.

Nyerere National Park - Walking Safari - Flight To Zanzibar

After early cup of coffee/ tea then will start walking safari ( Approaching the animals on foot). On your walking Safari with an armed Ranger, you will learn more about plants, invertebrates, animal spoors etc, it is more of tracks and signs. After a Nature Walking Safari you will get back to the Camp for branch meal. Later get prepared for your flight back to Zanzibar.
