Stone Town to Nungwi

After breakfast, you are going to enjoy 3 hours walk in the World Heritage Site of Zanzibar ancient town. You will visit different historical sites, the bustling market, the House of Wonders, the Palace Museum and the site of the former slave market at the Anglican Cathedral Church. Enjoy walking through the narrow streets to explore the curved Zanzibar doors and different fascinating building architectures. Shopping is part of the tour, from a number of bazaars you can buy from clothes materials, carvings, and drawings to expensive jewellery. Also, you can enjoy a variety of foods and drinks from different restaurants at your own cost.

After the Stone Town tour, you have another opportunity for a Spice Tour. The spices were brought from Asia and South America and flourished in the tropical climate.

You will then proceed towards your accommodation for an overnight stay.

Enjoy a full day of relaxation on the beautiful beaches of Nungwi, Zanzibar’s famous northern coastline known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and white sandy beaches. Spend your time swimming, sunbathing, or simply unwinding at the resort while enjoying the peaceful tropical atmosphere. Optional activities and excursions such as visits to Prison Island and Jozani Forest can be arranged upon request, either directly through the resort or with assistance from the resort’s excursion facilities. Additional experiences like snorkeling, diving, sunset dhow cruises, and cultural tours are also available. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the resort.

Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park

Board your scheduled flight from Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park, formerly known as Selous Game Reserve. Upon arrival at Mtemere Airstrip, you will be warmly welcomed and picked up by our professional safari guide before proceeding to the lodge for bush breakfast.

After breakfast, embark on an exciting full-day game drive through the vast wilderness of the park, renowned for its spectacular landscapes, diverse ecosystems, and abundant wildlife. During the safari, enjoy a bush lunch served inside the park while surrounded by the natural beauty of the African wilderness. The adventure continues with an afternoon game drive, offering more opportunities to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of bird species until sunset.

Later in the evening, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay at your accommodation.

Nyerere National Park (Selous) Full Game Drive

After breakfast, continue with a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park, one of Africa’s largest and most spectacular wildlife destinations, renowned for its breathtaking scenery and rich diversity of wildlife. Explore the park’s vast landscapes while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species in their natural habitat.

Enjoy a bush lunch served inside the park, allowing you to fully experience the beauty and tranquility of the African wilderness. After lunch, proceed with an afternoon game drive until sunset, offering further opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography as the animals become more active during the cooler hours of the day.
Later in the evening, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay at your accommodation.

Nyerere National Park to Zanzibar

Wake up early at 6:00 am and enjoy a refreshing cup of coffee before departing for an exciting two-hour walking safari in Nyerere National Park. Accompanied by an experienced guide and armed ranger, this unique safari experience offers the opportunity to explore the African wilderness on foot while learning about the park’s flora, fauna, and smaller wildlife species often missed during regular game drives.

After the walking safari, return to the lodge for breakfast before continuing with a scenic boat safari along the majestic Rufiji River until noon. This relaxing river excursion provides excellent opportunities to spot hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of birdlife while enjoying the peaceful surroundings and spectacular natural scenery.

Later, proceed to the camp for lunch then after Lunch you will be transfered to Mtemere Airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Zanzibar.
