Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will be picked up by our guide who will brief you about the whole safari before you travel to Bwindi Impenetrable forest which is found in the southwestern part of Uganda. Along the way, there is a local drum and craft-making community so you will have a visit here. Then a stopover at the Equator to take photos, also feel free to buy some crafts and souvenirs as you head to Mbarara town where you will have your lunch from. Thereafter, proceed to Bwindi whereby you will arrive in the late afternoon. Check in at the lodge, relax in the evening, and have Dinner.

Gorilla trekking- Bwindi Forest
After having breakfast early in the morning, you will drive to the park headquarters where the park rangers will brief you on what to do and what not to do while in the park. Additionally, they will divide you into groups of 8 before you begin the gorilla trekking, during which you will be guided by the rangers. Watching the Mountain gorillas feed, play and engage in their daily activities is a memorable and amazing experience. However, the duration of this activity can range from 2 to 8 hours depending on the location and movement of the gorillas. Also, expect to walk long distances in muddy and steep terrain, for which you will require a walking stick. You will spend one hour with the gorillas and take photos before returning to the lodge. In the evening, you may relax at the lodge or visit the Batwa community, where you will learn about their culture, lifestyle, and hear fascinating stories that will leave you amazed. Finally, you will have dinner and spend the night at the lodge.

Transfer from Bwindi to Kabale/Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast at your hotel, you will start your safari to Lake Bunyonyi continue through the impressive hilly country of Kabale, popularly known as “the Switzerland of Uganda”, and arrive at Lake Bunyonyi, one of the deepest lakes in Africa. Have Lunch, then after Lunch goes for a boat ride This is serpentine-shaped lake fine for swimming and is bilharzia free. It also overlooks the beautiful Kigezi highlands. The lake has many islands such as Bushara, Punishment, and Bwama islands. We take a boat trip on the lake to discover these islands It’s a good place for relaxation and taking photos of western Uganda. Return to Birds Nest Hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, take an excursion of the Island of the sky; a walk that will give you a more satisfying view of this lake and most of the Islands therein. Then go to the Lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Transfer from Bunyonyi back to Kampala
Have an early breakfast, Check-out leaving the “Switzerland of Uganda” behind and start your journey back to Kampala passing through rolling hills with terraces also you will have a great time viewing the lush vegetation of the different areas you will go through. Have lunch in Mbarara and continue to Kampala arriving late afternoon. The guide will drop you off.
