On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a member of the Kwezi team who will drive you to your hotel in vibrant Nairobi. You will be given a brief on your itinerary and code of conduct. Get some rest then prepare for your safari, renewed and full of energy.

Day 2

After a good breakfast, it's off to the Masai Mara National Reserve. With a huge concentration of wildlife, Mara never fails, making game drives here such a spectacular experience. The scenic views of the Great Rift Valley are also amazing. You can have a stopover at a viewpoint to catch the sheer size of the Great Rift Valley and see the best lakes.
The expected arrival time is around mid-morning. Have an en-route game drive as you head to your camp for check-in and lunch. Head out for an afternoon game drive, exploring the vast landscape.

Spot the Big Five and other predators in Masai Mara
Spend 2 days in the Masai Mara exploring the vast landscape and rich wildlife. Twice-daily game drives will allow you to spot the Big Five, famously coined for how hard it was to hunt them.
With a huge concentration of wildlife, the Masai Mara is among the best parks for a truly remarkable African safari. The biggest highlight of any Mara adventure is the annual wildebeest migration, crossing over from Serengeti into Mara for greener pastures. The Big Five also call this place home. You'll find that spotting a leopard is relatively easy.

Day 5
Transfer to Serengeti
Transfer to Serengeti
Today you will have an early start. After a hot drink, it is off for a morning safari game drive. All the animals are actively searching for food in the morning, so it is the perfect time for your game drive. After the drive, you will return to your accommodation for a full breakfast before checking out. You will then proceed to the Tanzania border where you will have a quick lunch before continuing your journey.
Upon arrival at Serengeti National Park, you will check into your accommodation and then head out for an afternoon safari game drive. At Serengeti National Park, the landscape is dominated by open woodlands and hills. This is one of the best places to find elephant, giraffe and dik-dik.
Upon returning to your accommodation for dinner, there will be a bonfire where you can meet other travellers and swap stories about your safari adventure. You will then head off to bed for a good night’s sleep.

Day 6-7
Explore the vast Serengeti
Explore the vast Serengeti
Begin each day with a thrilling 4x4 game drive in the park. There's a reason why the Serengeti is such a revered park for wildlife seekers. Excellent wildlife, endless plains and the Maasai people await.
Spend your days exploring the Northern sector of Serengeti with twice-daily game drives. During the game drive, you'll spot wild animals such as leopards, lions, hyenas, bat-eared foxes and cheetahs among others. This park is normally the scene of the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra that occurs between the Masai Mara in Kenya and the Serengeti.
The Serengeti National Park is arguably the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world with over 3 million large mammals. Other common roaming herbivores and omnivore species likely to be spotted include hippo, giraffe, eland, baboon and monkey among others.
At dusk, you will return to the camp for dinner, a bonfire experience and a good night's rest as you prepare for the next day.

Day 8-9

After a full breakfast, it is off for a morning game drive for one last adventure at Serengeti National Park. This park offers designated areas where you can enjoy a picnic lunch right out in the open. After lunch, there will be time for a little more exploring before it is time to head to the next park.
Upon arriving at the Ngorongoro Crater National Park, you will check in at your accommodation where you will have time to relax before an authentic African dinner. After dinner, there will be a bonfire where you can meet other travellers and swap stories about your safari adventure. Then, it is off to bed for a good night’s sleep.
You'll spend 2 days here, exploring the rich wildlife habitat. The landscape forms a natural physical boundary, protecting the wildlife. Enjoy twice-daily game drives. Lunch and dinner will be served at the lodge.

Day 10
Journey through Manyara
Journey through Manyara
After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park. Upon arrival, you will head out on a game drive where you might spot wild animals such as wildebeest, zebra, Thomsonʼs and Grantʼs gazelle, zebra, bushbuck and waterbuck among others.
Later, you will be transferred to the lake where you will have a chance to see hippos, elephants on the shores of the lake, hyenas, servals, honey badgers, African civets, mongoose, cheetahs, leopards and jackals among other wild animals. Bird species likely to be spotted within the lakes shore include greater and lesser flamingo, Northern shoveler, yellow-billed stork, pelican, black-winged slit, pied avocet, Caspian plover, ruff and common gull-billed tern among others.
Later in the evening, you will be transferred to the lodge for dinner and prepare for the next day's safari at Tarangire.

Spotting the elephants of Tarangire
The park is extremely famous for its special, diverse landscape and 9 different vegetation zones. You will spend 2 days exploring the landscape and wildlife. As you begin your game drive, you will be welcomed by the ancient and gigantic baobab trees which make animals like even the giraffe look tiny.
The game drive will last until the late afternoon and includes a short stop for a picnic lunch. Look out for the tree-climbing python and the long-necked gerenuk. The Tarangire National Park has the highest concentration of elephants, which offers a unique chance for you to observe interactions between elephant families. Don't forget to capture the beautiful scenery with your camera ready at hand.
Lunch and dinner will be served at the lodge.

Day 13-14
Safari in Arusha National Park

After breakfast, you will go on your last game drive in Tarangire before you check out and head to Arusha. You'll have a stopover at Karatu for lunch. You may opt to get some rest or head straight for an afternoon game drive.
Your second day will be packed with action. Largely designed to protect Mount Meru, this under-rated and under-visited park features habitats ranging from open savannah to acacia scrublands and rainforest to alpine vegetation. The range of wildlife is accordingly diverse. The wetlands are home to hippos, the forests to colobus and blue monkeys whereas the wooded grasslands support elephants, buffalos, giraffes, zebras and many species of antelopes. Leopards and spotted hyenas are the major predators, and with a species list of nearly 400, the bird watching is excellent.

Day 15
Transfer to Zanzibar

On this day, you can opt to have a morning game drive in Arusha National Park, go for a hike nearby, visit a local village or head straight to Zanzibar. You will be transferred to the airport for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar.
One of our representatives will be ready to pick you up once you arrive in Zanzibar and will take you to your resort.

Relax on an idyllic island paradise of Zanzibar
Your days in Zanzibar will be filled with thrills and relaxation. There are a few optional activities you can consider. You will visit Jozani Chwaka National Park for sightseeing and go on nature walks where you will see the endangered red colobus monkeys.
Another place to visit is the spice plantation which includes cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and pepper. There is much to learn about the food, culture and medicinal use among others.
Other notable destinations to visit include the Old Fort of Zanzibar, the House of Wonders, The Old Dispensary and the Mnarani Aquarium Turtle Conservancy.

Day 21

Enjoy breakfast and engage in water sports activities including scuba diving and a snorkeling safari before returning to the hotel for lunch and refreshments (optional activity at extra cost).
Later in the afternoon, you will check out of the hotel. You can stop to do some shopping at a mall as you are transferred to Zanzibar International Airport to catch your international flight.
