Day 2

Today is dedicated to exploring the best of Murchison Falls National Park. After breakfast, you will convert your jeep to safari mode and embark on a morning game drive led by your tour guide who will help you uncover the park's hidden treasures. Enjoy sighting thousands of animals roaming in this wilderness ranging from the big cats, towers of giraffes, and herds of elephants and buffaloes which are top of Africa's most sought-after animals on a safari.

The afternoon boat trip on the River Nile is a great opportunity to see crocodiles, hippos, and birds while hiking to the top of the falls will grant you an up-close view of the Uhuru Falls and the magnificent Murchison Falls after which the park was named. Viewing these two falls in one frame will blow your mind.

After breakfast, you will slowly drive out of Murchison Falls National Park and head to Kibale National Park with a lunch stop at Garden Restaurant in Fort Portal with a complementary optional visit to the kings' palace also awaiting. Later, you will arrive at the accommodation for dinner and relaxation at your leisure.

You will start the day with an early breakfast and prepare to meet our cousins in the wild. It is recommended that you carry enough drinking water in case you opt to go for chimpanzee habituation rather than tracking. A packed lunch will be a better option. Your tour begins with a briefing where a ranger gives you rules and regulations for encounters with chimpanzees, birds, and monkeys. In the afternoon, you'll embark on a community tour that will take you through the small communities, swamps, and tea plantations.

The locals here will teach you how to make crafts and herbal medicine. You will have the opportunity to taste some of the finest locally made coffee, gins, and beers. Nevertheless, the highlight of these walks is the transition to see at least five different species of monkeys and catch a glimpse of the blue turaco.

Today you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive takes 5 hours and the evening will be spent in the community exploring the distinctive cultures of the Batwa Pygmies. This activity is a very important step in conservation and a great way to give back to this community of indigenous forest inhabitants who were evicted to enable the conservation of the mountain gorillas.

After breakfast, be ready to face Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Impenetrable as the name, Bwindi a UNESCO World Heritage Site is famous for gorilla trekking but in this pristine ecosystem you have a high chance of spotting different monkeys, plants, birds, and butterflies. It is important to carry enough drinking water and a packed lunch and hire a potter if you think you don't need to carry these items to spare more time for pictures and savoring the moment

We will then take you for relaxation at a hotel strategically located on one of the 29 islands found on Lake Bunyonyi.
All these islands have a unique history. You can always reach out to the guide to arrange a quick boat trip around the islands, zipline or spend the rest of the day relaxing on your balcony with stunning views of some of the Islands.
