Day 1

Pick up from Arusha JRO airport or Arusha airport in the morning, after tour briefing you will collect packed lunch and drive to Arusha national park. The park covers area of 322km²; the topography is so diverse extending from open savannah through acacia scrublands to afro-montane cloud and rain forest and afro-alpine vegetation that its mammal and bird lists are most impressive. From the famous black and white colobus monkey, giraffes, buffalos, blue monkeys to the flamingos and other birds hovering at Lake Momella. Large areas of tropical forest with giant fig, shy forest birds, duikers and limited open spaces make this a photographer’s paradise. The park is also a home of Mount Meru which is the second peak in the country and 4th high point in Africa standing at an elevation of 4,566masl. Packed lunch will be served at Picnic site within the park, in the evening drive back to Arusha.

After breakfast, you will drive to Tarangire area with packed lunch for mid-morning and afternoon game viewing in Tarangire National Park, a small breathtaking Park with an immense natural richness surrounded by ancient baobab trees, Lesser kudu, eland, lion, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, Maasai giraffe and fringe-eared Oryx and gerenuk can be found in this beautiful park, noted for its multitude of baobab trees and its lions. Late afternoon drive to Arusha town.
