Zanzibar Island to Nyerere National Park (Selous)

Morning pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar for your scheduled flight to Nyerere National Park (part of the formerly Selous Game Reserve). On arrival, you will be met by a representative for the road transfer to your Camp where you will have a full breakfast. After breakfast, you will then enjoy an exciting and thrilling full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park (part of the formerly Selous of Game Reserve) taking a packed lunch with you to maximize your game drive time.

During the day, your guide will visit a scenic picnic spot for a lunch stop. This allows time for a meal and to stretch the legs before setting off to explore more of the African bush. Our game viewing stats show that we see most of the iconic species such as elephant, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, hippo, crocodile, warthog, hyena, and various antelope species on every safari. Your day will invariably end with a good dinner and some reminiscing about the day’s sightings.

Early morning Bush Walk, Boat Safari & Flight back to Zanzibar

Following your early morning wake-up call with coffee/tea at 6:30 am, you will head out on a bush/nature walk with a bushman. Get close to nature & learn more about indigenous wildlife and plants. You will return to the camp at 8:30 am for a full breakfast. After breakfast, you will be relaxing for a while before the boat safari on the Rufiji River is set at 10:00 am. You will return to the camp at 12:30 for a hot lunch.

After a hot lunch, you will have another chance to relax at the camp before your flight scheduled in the afternoon back to Zanzibar Island. Once arrive on the Island your driver will pick you up for the transfer to your Hotel.
