You will be met by Fauna Safaris tour guide/driver and be transferred to the Gables Hotel Karen Nairobi. Karen Gables is a characterful Cape Dutch style private home that sits peacefully off the road in its own verdant gardens. A true home from home, there are numerous private spots to sit and unwind. It’s a small boutique hotel with 7rooms, situated 20 minutes from Capital and near Nairobi National Park.

Day 2

Nairobi Excursions

Nairobi Excursions

After breakfast, depart for a full day excursion. Begin with visit to the Giraffe Centre then visit The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust for the 1100 hrs public visit. – Subject to availability. Have a Lunch break at Mat Bronze Restaurant/or similar restaurant. After lunch visit Karen Blixen Museum. The Giraffe Centre is the creation of the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife (A.F.E.W. Kenya) visitors get an opportunity to come into close contact with the world’s tallest species, interact with them and also feed them. Karen Blixen Museum is a beautiful farmhouse where Karen Blixen, author of Out of Africa, lived between 1914 and 1931. Guided tours are offered continuously. A museum shop offers handicrafts, posters and postcards, the Movie 'Out of Africa', books and other Kenyan souvenirs. The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is an elephant Nursery bordering Nairobi National Park offering a safe haven to orphaned baby elephants that are rescued from parks and reserves in Kenya.

Ol Tukai Lodge shares in the rich cultural history of Amboseli involving The Masai Community, The Colonial Government and The Early European explorers. The lodge opened its doors in 1996, on the original setup for the film crew who shot Snow at Kilimanjaro in 1948 starring Gregory Peck, Susan Hayward and Ava Gardner
The Lodge is strategically located at the heart of Amboseli National Park. As such, it is designed to take advantage of its scenic environment.

Day 4

Enjoy an Early morning drive at the park in search of the wild animals. View the animals at their original habitat and get to see how they hunt and live. Early morning game drive is the best time to catch a glimpse and photographing the highest peak of Kilimanjaro. Return for an afternoon game drive with with packed lunch in search for the big cats’ and elephants’ family etc.

Amboseli National Park to Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast drive you will be transferred to the airstrip in time for your flight to Nairobi the connect with a flight to Samburu. On arrival you'll be picked by a driver guide for a transfer to the camp with an en-route game drive. Samburu is one of the famous Safari destinations in East Africa. It is located in Northern Kenya and is a premier game reserve situated on the banks of the Ewaso Ng'iro river. Samburu Reserve is a unique wildlife conservation haven famous for harbouring the Special Five animals such as the Grevy's Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx. The reserve is also home to a population of close to 900 Elephants. Large predators such as the Lion, Leopard and Cheetah are an important attraction (Kamunyak the famous Lioness that adapted a baby Oryx is a resident in the reserve). Samburu is infact one of the better locations in Kenya to spot Leopard.

You'll spend this whole day exploring Samburu Game Reserve with early morning game drive where the light is perfect for a good photographic scenery coupled with the concentration of wildlife on the ground, mid morning game drives and afternoon game drives, you will have the opportunity of spotting the three cats lions, leopards and Cheetahs. Will have an option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend the entire whole day in Samburu Game Reserve.
We can organise extra activities as following at an extra cost Bush breakfast/dinner weather permitting, sun downer, cultural visits, lectures on Samburu culture by resident naturalist, entertainment by local samburu warriors, guided bush walks in Samburu.

Spend these days exploring the jewel of Kenya. Get to view the famous wonder of the world that takes place between July and September, as you watch over 450 species of wildlife in their natural setting. Picnic lunch is served at the park at the Mara river, the crossing point of the wildebeest and zebras from Serengeti in Tanzania to Masai Mara in Kenya as you interact with the monkeys.

After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Nairobi. On arrival at Nairobi Wilson Airport, you'll be met by our driver who will transfer you to Four Points By Sheraton for Lunch. After Lunch the driver will drive you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport just on time for your flight.
