The House of Waine is located at Karen in Nairobi. It is a 40-minute drive from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and only 25 minutes from the Wilson Airport.
The hotel sits on 2.5 acres and offers a serene environment to guests.
House of Waine provides good accommodation facilities and there are only 11 bedrooms, all well-furnished.
The rooms are all individually styled and then named to reflect their different themes ensuring that no two are exactly alike.

Nairobi Excursions

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for a full day excursion. Begin with visit to the Giraffe Centre then visit The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust for the 1100 hrs public visit. – Subject to availability,
We have a Lunch break at Mat Bronze Restaurant/or similar restaurant. After lunch visit Karen Blixen Museum, and after visit either Kazuri/utamaduni art center to shop for ccollection of handicrafts, artifacts, art objects, household goods of daily use, etc. Quality of all products is very good. For personal use or gifts.

Nairobi to Amboseli National park

After breakfast start your safari to Amboseli National Park.
Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season.

This one full day with parked lunch in Amboseli National park will be for search of big cats elephants family etc. Early morning game drive is the best time to catch a glimpse and photographing the highest peak of Kilimanjaro.
Optional hot air balloon safari can be organized prior.
Optional guided day and night game drives can be organized prior.
Optional cultural village tours can be organized prior.

One of the famous Safari destinations in East Africa, Samburu National Reserve is located in Northern Kenya and is a premier game reserve situated on the banks of the Ewaso Ng'iro river. This vast expanse of remote pristine wilderness measures 165 square kilometers in area and borders the Ewaso Ng'iro River to the south, which separates it from the Buffalo Springs National Reserve. Samburu Reserve is a unique wildlife conservation haven famous for an abundance of rare species of animals such as the Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx. The reserve is also home to a population of close to 900 Elephants. Large predators such as the Lion, Leopard and Cheetah are an important attraction. Samburu is infact one of the better locations in Kenya to spot Leopard. Birdlife is abundant with over 450 recorded species.

The tented luxury camp is a delight to be in – deliciously cooled by the river breeze and the forest. The camp sits on raised decks overlooking the brown river where the elephants sometimes make an appearance or the crocodiles come out to lounge by the river's banks.
