Enjoy an early, sumptuous breakfast before departing for the one-of-a-kind shoebill stork experience in the Mabamba Wetland Sanctuary. The excursion lasts approximately 2 to 4 hours and begins with a scenic cruise across Lake Victoria toward the swamp.
Upon arrival at Mabamba, you’ll transfer into traditional local dugout canoes, expertly guided through the marsh channels as you search for the elusive shoebill often referred to as a living dinosaur. Spend ample time observing and photographing this rare and fascinating bird in its natural habitat.
After the experience, you will return to your hotel for lunch and an overnight stay.

Day 2
Fly to Kisoro

Kisoro is one of Uganda’s most magical regions, nestled amidst misty hills and lush forests. After an early morning wake-up, catch your domestic flight to Kisoro. Upon arrival, our professional safari guide will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your luxurious lodge.
With the day still young, you may choose to relax and take in the serene forest surroundings, or enjoy optional activities such as a guided community walk. Breathe in the cool, fresh air filled with birdsong and keep an eye out for forest primates like the L’Hoest’s monkey and the black-and-white colobus monkey. Rest well as you prepare for the unforgettable gorilla trekking experience that awaits you the next day.

Day 3

Wake up early and prepare for this unforgettable adventure ensure you have everything you need, including rain gear, cameras, fully charged phones, and your packed lunch.
The trek takes almost 2 to 7 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family you're tracking. Led by ranger guides vanish into the jungle for the trek. Bwindi is not only home to mountain gorillas, but it also shelters a wealth of biodiversity, including Albertine Rift endemics such as the three-horned chameleon, rare birds, antelopes, and forest elephants can be seen.
Once you find the gorillas, you’ll be allowed to spend a magical 1hour observing and photographing these magnificent great apes in their natural habitat. Afterward, you’ll trek back to your starting point, filled with memories that will last a lifetime.
Later after relaxation, walk through the Batwa trail, listen to their stories and dance their tunes. Learn how they survived while in the forest before being evicted for gorilla conversations.

Day 4
Golden monkey trekking
Golden monkey trekking
Wake up early morning, have breakfast and go for golden monkey trekking in mgahinga national park. Same jungle attire is required, enough drinking water, snack, good hiking shoes. You will have briefing by the ranger guide and later proceed to the jungle, it takes about 2-4 hours or sometimes more depending on where they are located and 1-hour viewing hour. After the experience, relax at the lodge as you will as well have an option of visiting the community for great history and interaction.

Wake up lazily and have your bags ready, and your driver guide drops you at the airstrip for your next domestic flight. Before going to the airport, you can re-freshen via the guest house as advised by our experts or depending on your choice.
