You will take a flight from Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park, with the journey offering views of the park’s rivers, forests, and wildlife areas. After arriving around lunchtime and having lunch, you will head out for an afternoon game drive. The drive may offer opportunities to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species. Later, you will return to Rufiji River Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

You will spend the day exploring Nyerere National Park through game drives, with the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife in different areas of the park. Lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and wildebeests are among the animals you may encounter. Nyerere is also home to African wild dogs and leopards, although they can be more difficult to spot. The park’s landscape includes the Rufiji River, lakes, open areas, and wooded surroundings, creating a varied setting for your safari.
