Addo Wildlife Private Reserve Safari

Upon arriving in Port Elizabeth, we pick you up and depart for Addo to your exquisite accommodation at Addo Wildlife Lodge. You will arrive in the afternoon and check in at 14h00. Your first excursion on this thicket veld is to experience a 4-hour sunset game drive in Addo Wildlife Private Game Reserve, departing at 16h30. Our experienced safari guide will take you through the beautiful citrus orchards to our private game reserve situated on the banks of the Sunday River.

If lucky, you may witness the thrill of a lion hunt as you search for giraffes, plains zebra and many antelope species such as kudu, eland, impala and sable. Your knowledgeable guide will share interesting facts about the unique Eastern Cape fauna and flora.

Have a short stop for snacks and drinks in the bush with surrounding spekboom. You will end the day with a spectacular buffet-style meal served over open fires at our private Bush River Boma (weather and capacity-dependent), or the Tangelo Restaurant.

Addo Elephant National Park Safari

At around 08h00, you will set off for a thrilling full-day safari in the third-biggest South African national park. With only 11 elephants left around 1931, when the park's first section was proclaimed, you can now enjoy watching over 600 elephants. Addo Elephant Park allows viewing of these African Big Five animals in their natural habitats, as well as many other animals, from big elephants to as small as the Addo dung beetle.

South Africa's traditional braai lunch will be served in the heart of Addo Elephant National Park.

Schotia Safari tour

On day 3 you will either choose elephant encounter (Walk) or giraffe encounter (walk) in the morning. Join our professional guides on an afternoon safari through Schotia Safari Private reserve which is in the eastern border of the Great Addo national park. Schotia Private game reserve offers high probability of viewing the Great African BIG FIVE animals (Elephants, lions, leopards, Rhinoceros, cape Buffalo's) and a variety of other animals in their natural inhabitants. Have a chance to see animals which are not found in Addo National Park on this sunset safari.
