Led by an experienced guide, this two-hour exploration takes you through the lush Victoria Falls National Park, where you’ll witness the awe-inspiring beauty of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The tour concludes at the vibrant open curio market, giving you the perfect opportunity to shop for authentic local crafts and souvenirs.

The remainder of your day is free for optional activities of your choice—from adrenaline-filled adventures to relaxed cultural encounters.

Chobe National Park - Botswana

You will be collected from your hotel at 07h00 for an unforgettable full-day safari in Chobe National Park, Botswana. Your adventure begins with a serene three-hour boat cruise on the Chobe River, where you can enjoy incredible wildlife viewing from the water—elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and an array of birdlife are often seen along the riverbanks.

After the cruise, you’ll savour a delicious buffet lunch at the four-star Chobe Safari Lodge (or similar), the perfect opportunity to relax before the afternoon’s exploration.

Your journey continues with a three-hour game drive in custom 4x4 safari vehicles, taking you deep into the upper Chobe region—an area unreachable by boat and known for sightings of lions, hyenas, leopards, and other elusive predators. The safari concludes around 17h00, after which you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 4

Safaris in Chobe National Park

Safaris in Chobe National Park

You’ll start the day with an early morning game drive in Chobe National Park, departing at 06:00. Enjoy tea and coffee in the bush as you search for wildlife, with excellent chances of spotting big cats at this active time of day. You will return to the lodge around 09:30 for breakfast.

In the afternoon, at 15:00, you’ll be picked up for a scenic cruise on the Chobe River. This is the perfect time to see large herds and predators coming to the water for their final drink of the day, followed by a spectacular Chobe River sunset.

You will be picked up at 07h30 for your transfer to Elephant Sands Lodge in Nata, where you will spend one night before continuing to the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans. Upon arrival at Elephant Sands, you will settle in and later join an afternoon game drive in the private game reserve. This area is renowned for its impressive elephant populations, and you are likely to see large herds up close, along with a variety of plains game. Lions are also occasionally spotted in the reserve.

After the game drive, you can relax at the lodge and enjoy exceptional wildlife viewing from the natural waterhole, located just a few meters from the main building—an unforgettable setting where elephants often gather to drink.

The Ntwetwe Pan, in the heart of Botswana’s Makgadikgadi region, is the largest of three major salt pans, alongside Nxai and Sua Pans. In the rainy season, it transforms into a shimmering seasonal lake, attracting wildlife and offering stunning scenery.

Experience a night under the open African sky, where stars stretch endlessly above. Explore the area to spot curious meerkats and meet the Bushmen of the Kalahari Desert, learning about their ancient traditions.

Depart Elephant Sands Bush Camp at 08:30 for the 150 km transfer to the pan, with a lunch stop at Gweta Lodge or Planet Baobab Lodge. Arrive at the pan by 15:00 to enjoy its beauty before nightfall. Overnight accommodation includes dinner, bed, and breakfast.

You will be transferred from Gweta/Makgadikgadi Pans to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta and its many activities. In the afternoon, we recommend taking an optional 45-minute scenic flight (at own expense) to enjoy a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of this extraordinary wetland system, with its winding rivers, crystal-clear channels, islands, and lagoons—home to a rich diversity of wildlife and plant life.

After your flight, continue 35 km to Semowi Nature Camp, located on the edge of the Delta, where you will enjoy a serene and immersive bush experience.
