Amber Mountain National Park - Joffre Ville

8:00 AM – Journey to Amber Mountain
After breakfast, depart for Amber Mountain National Park, about one hour from Antsiranana along a paved road. Meet your local guide and choose a suitable hiking trail through the park’s lush rainforest.

Morning – Rainforest Exploration
Discover Madagascar’s oldest national park and its remarkable biodiversity. Look for the world’s smallest chameleon, as well as Crowned and Sanford’s lemurs, endemic birds such as the Madagascar Crested Ibis, and a variety of reptiles and unique plant species.

Afternoon – Return to Antsiranana
After the hike, stop in Joffreville for lunch before continuing back to Antsiranana. Arrive at the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

The park also shelters numerous endemic birds, reptiles, frogs, and other remarkable species. Venture into the spectacular cave network, home to several bat species, while discovering the fascinating underground world of Ankarana.

Afternoon – Picnic and Relaxation

Ambilobe - Ambanja Village - Nosy Be Island

7:30 AM – Departure from Ambilobe
After breakfast, set off towards Ankify Port, travelling along a scenic paved road through northern Madagascar. The journey takes approximately four hours and passes through Ambanja, surrounded by lush landscapes and plantations.

Cacao Plantation Visit
En route, stop at a local cacao plantation to discover how cacao is cultivated and learn about the work of local farmers. Take the opportunity to taste or purchase locally produced cacao products.

Afternoon – Boat to Nosy Be
Continue to Ankify Port and board a speedboat for a scenic 45 minute crossing to Nosy Be Island. Enjoy the turquoise waters and beautiful coastal views before arriving at your hotel.

Evening – Free Time
Settle in at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, with time to relax on the beach or explore Nosy Be at your own pace.
