Fly from Zanzibar Airport to Arusha Airport and Transfer to Tarangire National Park

Program of the day: After an early breakfast at your accommodation in Zanzibar, you will be picked up at approximately 05:00 am, depending on your hotel location, and transferred to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your scheduled 08:00 am flight to Arusha. Upon arrival at Arusha Airport around 09:15 am, you will be welcomed by me and your professional driver-guide and receive a short safari briefing before departing for Tarangire National Park.

Enjoy a scenic 2–3 hour drive to the park, arriving around midday for a picnic lunch. After lunch, begin your afternoon game drive until approximately 04:30 pm, exploring the park’s wildlife and landscapes before proceeding to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Tarangire National Park is famous for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which supports abundant wildlife. You may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, lions, and numerous bird species.

Game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, Highlands & Flight to Zanzibar

Program of the day: After breakfast, you will be picked up at approximately 06:30 am and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you ascend the highlands, stop at the crater viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views before continuing to the crater gate. You will then descend approximately 600 meters into the crater for an exciting game drive, with opportunities to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and rhinos.

Around midday, enjoy a scenic picnic lunch at the hippo pool, followed by more wildlife viewing. At approximately 02:00 pm, you will ascend from the crater and begin the drive towards Arusha, with a complimentary visit to a Maasai Boma along the way. Experience traditional Maasai culture, learn about their way of life, and interact with the local community.

Continue to Arusha Airport for your scheduled 05:00 pm flight to Zanzibar, arriving at approximately 06:15 pm. Upon arrival, your driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel, concluding your safari.
