Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport and Transfer to Tarangire National Park

Program of the day: After an early breakfast at your accommodation in Zanzibar, you will be picked up at approximately 05:00 am (depending on your hotel location) and transferred to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your scheduled 08:00 am flight to Arusha. Upon arrival at Arusha Airport at around 09:00 am, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional driver-guide and receive a short safari briefing. You will then depart on a scenic 2–3 hour drive to the park, arriving around midday for a picnic lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive until approximately 04:30–05:00 pm before proceeding to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its large elephant herds, beautiful baobab trees, and diverse wildlife supported by the Tarangire River.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Zanzibar

Program of the day: After breakfast, you will be picked up at 05:30 am and ascend the Ngorongoro highlands, stopping at the crater viewpoint to admire the breathtaking panoramic scenery. You will then descend approximately 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive, where you may spot the Big Five. Around midday, enjoy a scenic picnic lunch at the hippo pool, followed by more wildlife viewing and a complimentary visit to a Maasai Boma before departing the crater at 02:30 pm.

You will then drive to Arusha Airport for your 05:00 pm flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, a driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel, concluding your safari with unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s wildlife, landscapes, and Maasai culture.

The Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is Africa’s largest intact caldera, home to 30,000 animals including lions, elephants, buffalo, cheetahs, and rhinos, plus many birds. You’ll see a wide variety of wildlife.
