Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide, who will provide you with a detailed overview of your upcoming safari. After the greeting and a short briefing, you will embark on a comfortable drive to African View, your overnight accommodation near Arusha.

The journey takes you through lush landscapes, passing African villages and banana plantations. Upon check-in at African View, you can enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding area.

The afternoon is at your leisure to relax and experience your first night in Tanzania. A delicious dinner awaits you at the hotel’s restaurant. Overnight at African View, where you can unwind from your journey and feel the excitement for the days ahead.

Arusha National Park

After breakfast, you’ll depart for Arusha National Park, a true hidden gem in Tanzania. The park is home to diverse ecosystems, including lush rainforests, alpine meadows, and volcanic craters.

The park’s most famous feature is the Mount Meru, the second-highest peak in Tanzania, offering a stunning backdrop to your day’s adventures. The game drive offers plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, and various species of antelopes. The park is also known for its population of black-and-white colobus monkeys, which are often seen in the dense forest areas. Additionally, Lake Momella is home to a wide variety of birds, including flamingos.

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you'll embark on a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its stunning landscapes and incredible wildlife. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, which are often seen lounging in the branches of acacia trees. Lake Manyara is also home to vast flocks of flamingos, especially around the soda lake, as well as elephants, giraffes, and a variety of bird species. Around midday, you’ll enjoy a lunchbox in the midst of nature, with the sounds of birds and wildlife surrounding you. After your game drive, you’ll make your way to Karatu, where you’ll check in at the serene Marera Valley Lodge, nestled in the beautiful highlands. On the final day of your adventure, enjoy a scenic drive from Karatu to Arusha, where you will have time to reflect on the incredible wildlife experiences you've had throughout the week. From Arusha, you'll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home. Depending on your flight time, you may have the opportunity for a brief stop in Arusha for some last-minute shopping or sightseeing.

As you make your way to the airport, take in the views of Mount Meru and the Tanzanian countryside one last time, carrying with you memories of an unforgettable safari experience.
