Nairobi to Masai Mara – Scenic Drive & Afternoon Game Drive

Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel and join the group for a road trip to Masai Mara. The journey takes about 5-6 hours, with a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for breathtaking photos. You will pass through Maasai villages before arriving at your camp in time for lunch. After some rest, you will embark on an afternoon game drive, exploring the vast plains in search of lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos. Other wildlife, such as cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and antelopes, can also be spotted. As the sun sets over the savannah, you will return to the camp for dinner, relaxation by the bonfire, and an overnight stay in the heart of the wilderness.

For those opting for a hot air balloon safari, the day starts before dawn with a breathtaking flight over the Masai Mara, followed by a champagne bush breakfast. The rest of the group begins with an early breakfast before heading out for a full-day game drive, exploring different parts of the reserve with a packed lunch. You’ll track wildlife, witness predator-prey interactions, and visit the Mara River to see hippos and crocodiles. In the afternoon, you may choose to visit a Maasai village (optional) to learn about their culture. As the sun sets, you'll return to camp for dinner, relaxation by the bonfire, and a peaceful night in the wild.

Morning Game Drive & Return to Nairobi

On the final day, you will wake up early and prepare for a cultural experience as you visit a traditional Maasai village — offered complimentary by our company. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with the Maasai people, learn about their rich traditions, unique way of life, and enjoy their vibrant dances and crafts. After this enriching visit, you will return to the camp for breakfast before packing up and bidding farewell to Maasai Mara. The journey back to Nairobi will once again offer stunning landscapes, with a stop for lunch along the way. Arriving in Nairobi in the late afternoon, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable 3-day safari.
