After breakfast, your Rafiki Tembo safari guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Often described as Tanzania’s hidden gem, Tarangire is a paradise for those who love wilderness and solitude. The park is named after the Tarangire River, a vital lifeline that draws incredible concentrations of wildlife, especially during the dry season. Its landscapes are uniquely diverse dotted with majestic baobab trees, giant termite mounds, and sweeping savannahs. In the dry season, the earth bakes to a deep red, while the wet season transforms the park into a lush, green sanctuary. By evening, we head to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Known to the Maasai as “the endless plains,” it offers one of the richest wildlife spectacles on earth. The park is home to the legendary Big Five lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino as well as the world-famous Great Migration. Its sweeping landscapes and incredible wildlife will leave you in awe. After game viewing, we proceed to your lodge inside the park, where you can relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night surrounded by the magic of Serengeti.
