Day 2

After breakfast, depart Hermanus and travel along one of South Africa’s most scenic routes towards the heart of the Little Karoo. The journey takes you through rolling farmlands, mountain passes, and charming countryside towns, showcasing the diversity of the Western Cape landscape.
En route, enjoy beautiful views of vineyards, orchards, and rugged mountain ranges before arriving in Oudtshoorn, known as the Ostrich Capital of the World.
Upon arrival, visit a local ostrich farm to learn about the history and importance of the ostrich industry in the region. Continue with a guided tour of the spectacular Cango Caves, one of South Africa’s most impressive natural wonders, featuring magnificent limestone formations and vast underground chambers.
The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure to explore Oudtshoorn or relax at your accommodation.

Featherbed Nature Reserve: Enjoy an eco-tour to the reserve, including a boat ride, 4x4 tractor excursion, and guided walk with spectacular views.

Enjoy the afternoon at leisure at the waterfront or take a drive to Brenton Beach for a warm swim in the Indian Ocean. You will overnight in Knysna.

After breakfast, travel through the beautiful Garden Route towards Tsitsikamma National Park, one of South Africa’s most spectacular coastal wilderness areas.
Upon arrival, enjoy a visit to the famous Storms River Mouth, where a short walk leads to the iconic suspension bridge spanning the river mouth. From here, take in breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean, dramatic cliffs, and rugged coastline that make Tsitsikamma one of the country's natural highlights.
For the more adventurous, an optional Kayak and Lilo Adventure offers the chance to paddle through the magnificent Storms River Gorge, exploring hidden caves, towering rock formations, and pristine waters deep within the canyon.
