Game Drive (Visit Chemka Hotspring)

After a full breakfast, you’ll drive into the vast Nyerere National Park to explore the diverse wildlife and undisturbed nature for a full day. Countless elephants and buffaloes, prides of lions, giraffes, zebras, and impalas are quite common. Selous is also quite famous for having many African wild dogs. Enjoy a picnic lunch break from a safe vantage point while taking in the beautiful scenery and watching wildlife in their natural habitat. Then, you will be taken to Chemka hot spring where by you will be able to see natures hot flow of water and a nice place for swimming. Then, you’ll be transferred to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Bush Walk & Sunset Boat Safari

You will get up early for a little coffee or tea then you will depart the lodge and make your way into reserve for a walking Safari accompanied by an armed ranger. The Park has a variety of vegetation zones, ranging from dense thickets to open wooded grasslands. After the walking Safari, transfer back to the lodge for a full breakfast, lunch and have ample time to relax. Later you’ll depart for a sunset boat safari along the great Rufiji river. The cruise normally last for two hours, Awesome views of hippos growling, crocodiles basking on the banks and the abundant birdlife will spice up your spectacular dawn. After the Boat Safari you’ll be transferred back to the lodge for a beautiful and luscious dinner and an overnight stay on the banks of the Great Rufiji River.

Departure to Zanzibar

After an early full breakfast, you will check out and be transferred to Mtemere Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar, departing at approximately 06:30 AM.
