Arusha or Dar es Salaam to Gombe National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha or Dar es Salaam and transferred to the airport for your scheduled flight to Kigoma.
On arrival, you will be transferred to Ujiji village where you will visit Dr. Livingstone's memorial then you will be taken to Kibirizi port for your boat to Gombe National Park. On arrival, you will be transferred to the rest house for a hot lunch before starting your chimpanzee trek tour to the rolling hills and lush landscapes of western Tanzania. Later, you will be back to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Gombe National Park

Today is your once-in-a-lifetime chance to track wild chimpanzees in the Gombe Mountains. After breakfast and a ranger briefing, you’ll begin a trek that can take up to eight hours through forests, hills, and valleys. Once you find the chimps, you’ll watch them groom, play, and feed in their natural habitat. It’s a truly unforgettable experience. After the trek, return to your lodge, enjoy dinner, and relax after a thrilling day in the wild.

Gombe National Park to Kigoma

On day three, you will have breakfast then start chimpanzee trekking in different valleys. You will walk in the forest, and visit Mkenge Waterfall. At 12 noon, you will go back for lunch. After relaxation of some time you can pack and transfer back to Kigoma Town for a scheduled departure to Arusha or Dar-es-salaam to complete the tour.
