Start your Garden Route adventure departing Cape Town along the spectacular Clarence Drive, one of the most beautiful coastal routes in the world. Stop at Gordon’s Bay, Betty’s Bay, and Hermanus famous for seasonal whale watching (June–November). While you won’t overnight in Hermanus, enjoy a scenic break at the cliff path or grab lunch overlooking Walker Bay.
Continue via Swellendam and the scenic Route 62 into the Klein Karoo, arriving in Oudtshoorn, known as the ostrich capital of the world.
