Departure from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

Morning:

Pickup: Begin your adventure with an early morning pickup from your accommodation in Dar es Salaam around 6:30 AM. This allows for a full day of exploration.
Travel to Mikumi: The drive to Mikumi National Park takes approximately 4-5 hours. Enjoy the scenic views of the Tanzanian countryside, including small villages and lush landscapes.
Afternoon:

Arrival at Mikumi: Arrive at Mikumi National Park around noon. After a brief orientation, check into your lodge or campsite.
Lunch: Enjoy lunch at your accommodation, where you can savor local cuisine.
Evening:

Game Drive: After lunch, embark on your first game drive in Mikumi National Park. This park is known for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and various antelope species. The evening is an excellent time for wildlife viewing as animals are more active during cooler temperatures.
Return to Accommodation: Head back to your lodge or campsite for dinner and relaxation under the stars.

Travel to Nyerere National Park: After breakfast, depart for Nyerere National Park. The journey takes about 1.5 hours from Mikumi.
Lunch: Enjoy lunch at your accommodation before heading out for an afternoon adventure.
Afternoon:

Boat Safari on Rufiji River: Experience a unique perspective of wildlife by taking a boat safari on the Rufiji River. This activity offers opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species along the riverbanks

Final Game Drive: Conclude your trip with one last game drive in Nyerere National Park. Look out for elephants, lions, zebras, and other wildlife as you explore this vast reserve.
Night:

Return Journey to Dar es Salaam: After dinner at your lodge or camp, begin your return journey back to Dar es Salaam. Depending on traffic conditions, you should arrive late in the evening.
