Nairobi to Amboseli

Your driver-guide reports to your hotel for the Start of the safari, with an 8 am departure for Amboseli National Park. You will arrive for lunch at the lodge, at the foot of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates everything in sight. Enjoy the spectacular scenery and see the amazing wildlife, particularly the elephants, during the afternoon game drive.

You will have dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Amboseli National Park

Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for another extensive game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from wildebeest, giraffe, and baboon.

An optional visit to a Maasai village is planned after breakfast. Maasai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with wild animals are known across the world. A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience.

Nairobi

After a relaxed breakfast and check-out, you will proceed with a return road transfer back to Nairobi (there will be no game drive today) with a brief stop along the way at the Rift Valley Escarpment. You will arrive in Nairobi mid-afternoon. Transfer to JKIA International Airport for your flight home or drop-off at your overnight hotel.
