Day 2
From Arusha to Tarangire National Park
From Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Today, your safari takes you to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most exciting wildlife spots! The Tarangire River runs through the park, attracting giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and buffaloes —along with the lions that follow them. You’re almost certain to see these majestic predators!
During the dry season, the river becomes the only water source for miles, drawing huge elephant herds. Tarangire has Northern Tanzania’s largest elephant population for much of the year (especially June–October and December–March). These gentle giants aren’t shy and often come close to safari vehicles —completely safe, as they have no natural enemies and are simply curious.
What Makes It Special:
- Massive herds of elephants—Northern Tanzania’s largest!
- Prime predator sightings with lions trailing the herds
- Up-close encounters with giraffes, zebras, and buffalo
- Iconic baobab-studded landscapes
- Thrilling game drives along the Tarangire River.

Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
For this day, we recommend an early start! You can opt for your breakfast to be packed in lunchboxes so you can make the most of Ngorongoro Crater’s prime morning hours, when wildlife is most active.
Ngorongoro is one of Tanzania’s most famous parks, home to the highest concentration and diversity of wildlife per square kilometer. Expect to see buffalos, elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, and even elusive cats like caracals and servals. If you're lucky, you might even spot a rare rhinos!
You'll enjoy lunch by a hippo lake before continuing your safari. Afterwards, you can either continue your game drive for another couple of hours or start driving directly to your next lodge.

Day 4
Great Migration & Calving Season in Ndutu
Great Migration & Calving Season in Ndutu
Today, your safari takes you to the Ndutu region, nestled in the southwestern corner of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, bordering the Serengeti. This remote and scenic area offers vast views and far fewer tourists — you’ll often feel like you have it all to yourself.
From late January to mid-March, Ndutu becomes the birthing ground for the Great Migration. Thousands of wildebeest calves are born here daily — and within minutes, they’re walking; within hours, they’re running. This incredible survival instinct is crucial in a land where predators lie in wait. Calving season draws all of Tanzania’s Big Cats: lions, leopards, cheetahs, servals, and even the elusive caracal. It’s a rare chance to witness life begin — and the wild drama that comes with it.

Day 5
Great Migration & Calving Season in Ndutu
Great Migration & Calving Season in Ndutu
Ndutu is alive with wildlife year-round — elephants, giraffes, antelopes, and other savanna animals often stroll right up to safari vehicles, curious and unbothered. Two scenic lakes, Ndutu and Masek, draw countless animals to their shores, creating peaceful, photogenic moments framed by acacia trees. But Ndutu also carries echoes of the deep past: in 1973, archaeologists uncovered stone tools and early human remains here, dating back over 500,000 years — powerful evidence that this region is part of the Cradle of Humanity.
