Welcome to Uganda the Pearl of Africa, upon arrival you shall be welcomed by an Otter African Safaris guide at Entebbe International Airport from where you will transfer to your booked accommodation for the night. Depending on your time of arrival at the airport, you will have lunch before transferring to your hotel in Entebbe for some rest as you prepare for
the ultimate Uganda Safari experience the following day.

Day 2
Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

After your early morning breakfast, you will be picked by an Otter African Safaris guide and start your journey to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Kisoro in South Western Uganda. First stop will be at the Equator in Kayabwe for memorable photos and the famous water experiment that show that earth is separated into the Northern and Southern Hemisphere and you will have a chance to enjoy both the hemispheres. A lunch break will be in Mbarara at Igongo Cultural Center and after you will continue your journey to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.

Day 3
Golden Monkey Tracking and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After your early morning breakfast, you will proceed at the visitors centre in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park at Ntebeko where you will be briefed about the do's and don’ts while with the golden monkeys. After the briefing you will then head inside the forest to search for the golden monkeys and once you have identified a group, you will be given one hour to spend with the monkeys watching their behaviours and you will take as many pictures as you want. After the trekking you will return to the lodge for lunch and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 4
Gorilla Tracking

After the early morning breakfast, you will proceed to UWA visitor’s reception where briefing is done before tracking at 7:30am about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. Remember to carry your packed lunch and enough drinking water since you may stay in the forest up to afternoon in search of these gentle giants in their natural environment. Gorilla tracking exercise is physically demanding but an exciting activity! You may need to hire a porter to assist you during tracking and these are readily available at the park headquarters. Time allowed to spend with gorillas is 1 hour when you have found them and this is enough to ask all the questions about their behaviour. Return to the lodge after trekking and freshen up. In the evening, Batwa pygmies will be invited to entertain you with their dances, storytelling after you have dinner and overnight. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 5
Transfer to Kibale National Park
Transfer to Kibale National Park
After your breakfast at the lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will check out and embark on a journey to Kibale National Park. You will enjoy a long but scenic drive through Western Uganda and Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will have an opportunity to see different wild animals on the road. You will have lunch on your way to Kibale National Park. You will arrive at the lodge later in the afternoon and you will check in. Dinner and Overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 6

Chimpanzee Tracking and Afternoon swamp walk in the Bigodi wetlands
You will wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then report at the park headquarters at Kanyanchu at 7:30am for briefing by the guides about the dos and don’ts while with the chimpanzees. You will then embark on a trek for the search of the chimpanzees and once you have spotted a group, you will spend one hour with them observing their different behaviours and you will also spot other primates in the forest. After the chimpanzee tracking experience you will be awarded a chimpanzee tracking certificate and after you will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will embark on a guided nature walk in the Bigodi wetlands and you have a chance to spot 138 bird species.

Day 7
Exit Kibale National Park and Transfer to Entebbe International Airport
Exit Kibale National Park and Transfer to Entebbe International Airport
After your morning breakfast, you will check out of your lodge in Kibale National Park and transfer to Entebbe. You will have an en-route lunch as you proceed to Entebbe. Do not forget to purchase a souvenir for yourself as a remembrance for this wonderful trip.
