Nairobi to Hell's Gate National Park

Nairobi to Hell's Gate National Park

Your adventure begins with a warm welcome in Nairobi by your safari guide. After a short briefing, you depart the city and journey westward towards the Great Rift Valley. The drive offers stunning views of escarpments, farmlands, and the shimmering waters of Lake Naivasha in the distance. Arriving at Hell’s Gate National Park, you’ll check into your lodge located near the park.

After lunch, embark on an optional exciting walking or biking safari inside the park(Both, optional at an extra cost). Hell’s Gate is one of the few places in Kenya where guests can walk or cycle alongside wildlife. With no large predators, the park offers safe exploration of its dramatic gorges, towering cliffs, and geothermal vents. You may encounter giraffes, zebras, Thomson’s gazelles, and even rock hyraxes along the way. Later, return to your Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort for a relaxing evening surrounded by nature.

In the afternoon, take an optional boat ride(Optional, at an extra cost)on Lake Naivasha, where you can see hippos basking in the water and a variety of waterbirds such as fish eagles and kingfishers.
