Begin your safari with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. Drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Spend the day exploring diverse landscapes, including riverine forests, open plains, and seasonal swamps, while spotting lion, giraffe, zebra and a variety of bird species. The park is quieter than others, offering a more intimate wildlife experience. In the evening, relax at your camp near the park.

Serengeti National Park for Great Migration Viewing

Devote this day to witnessing the spectacular great migration (seasonal). Note: The great migration does not occur year-round in the Serengeti. This experience will only be arranged during the migration seasons — between December and March in the southern Serengeti (calving season), and between July and October in the northern Serengeti (river crossings). Migration viewing in the northern Serengeti is optional and must be requested before confirming the trip with us.

Ngorongoro Crater

Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world's largest volcanic calderas. The crater is home to a dense concentration of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino, lion, elephant, buffalo and flamingo near the crater lake. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch amid stunning scenery. In the afternoon, return to Arusha for an evening drop-off at your hotel, concluding your safari.
