Everything has been planned and organized, and now it's time to enjoy and start your journey with us. Welcome to Uganda! After introducing you to your guide and answering our questions, we'll take you out to show you all that this amazing country has to offer.
Enclosed by lush tropical jungle and lapped by the oceanic expanse of Lake Victoria, Entebbe is one of the prettiest and greenest towns you could hope to visit anywhere in Africa. It is also the main air gateway to Uganda, and a great starting point for your safari, thanks to the dazzling birdlife, plentiful monkeys, and a great selection of chilled lakeside restaurants.

Day 4
Kibale National Park
Kibale National Park
Protecting a vast tract of tropical jungle near the Eastern base of the Rwenzori Mountains. Kibale National Park is probably the best place in Africa to see chimpanzees in their natural habitat. The so-called primate capital of East Africa is also home to a high diversity of monkeys and birds, while a scenic scattering of at least two dozen forest-fringed crater lakes provides rich scenic interest.
Guided Walk, Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary
You'll go on a guided walk in the community-managed Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary bordering Kibale National Park. Here, you stand a good chance of spotting up to five monkey species. The forest birding is excellent with a long list of colorful regulars that includes great blue turaco, papyrus gonolek, yellow-spotted barbet, and blue-throated roller.

Day 5
Queen Elizabeth National Park
Queen Elizabeth National Park
Your next stop is Queen Elizabeth National Park, where a mosaic of savannah, forest, and wetland habitats supports high densities of elephant, buffalo, hippo, and antelope. Look out for Africa's three largest carnivore species: lion, leopard, and spotted hyena.
Chimp Trekking, Kibale National Park
There is something about chimpanzees that makes them one of the greatest safari prizes of all. We‘ll take you trekking through the forest to spend time with them and enjoy an encounter that you'll never forget.
Evening Game Drive, Queen Elizabeth National Park
You’ll love the warm light and cooler temperatures as we take you out to explore on your evening game drive. This time of day is when both predators and prey are most active, and it can feel as though anything could happen at any moment. This is when you'll most enjoy being on safari.

Back in Queen Elizabeth National Park, you get the opportunity to look for some of the wildlife you missed the first time around.
Early Morning Game Drive, Queen Elizabeth National Park
Put on some warm clothes and enjoy an early morning game drive. This is the perfect time to experience the wildlife and the landscapes they inhabit. The light is soft and warm — perfect for photography — and most animals are out and about, and active. If you're not an early riser, you'll want to make an exception here.
Boat Trip, Kazinga Channel
Boat trips on the Kazinga Channel are a wildlife viewing highlight of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Cruise past pods of grunting hippos, watch elephants and buffalo come down to drink, enjoy flocks of pelicans and other aquatic birds, catch a glimpse of the snow-capped Rowenzori peaks, and keep an eye open for the giant forest hog, a local specialty.

-Although large herds of buffalo and antelope are common on the grassy plains of Ishasha, the jackpot for any game drive here is a sighting of its legendary tree-climbing lions.

Lake Bunyonyi
Lake Bunyonyi
It's time to chÃŽll out at Lake Bunyonyi, a flooded river valley that runs for 35km through the majestic hills Characteristic of southwest Uganda. This lovely freshwater lake has something for everybody. There are no hippos or crocodiles, so it's safe for swimming, but wildlife lovers will enjoy the plentiful birds and the high chance of spotting swimming otters. As for activities, you can relax over a beer at a waterside restaurant, hike in the surrounding hills, or take a boat out to some of the lake's 29 islands.

Day 10
Lake Mburo National Park
Lake Mburo National Park
Part of the ancient Ankole Kingdom, Lake Mburo National Park is conveniently located halfway between Kampala and the GorìlIa HÃghlands of southwest Uganda. Large carnivores are unlikely to be seen, but the park offers your best chance anywhere in Uganda of spotting an elusive leopard. Lake Mburo itself is home to large numbers of hippo and aquatic birds, including the localized African finfoot. Other wildlife includes buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and Uganda's only population of the impala antelope.
