Day 1

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel to begin the drive to Amboseli National Park well known for its scenic beauty and wildlife. The journey offers views of the countryside as you make your way to one of Kenya’s most iconic parks.

Upon arrival, you’ll head straight into the park for a game drive. Amboseli is especially known for its wetlands, where elephants and hippos are often seen cooling off in the water. You'll also have the chance to spot zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, and several types of antelope. With some luck, you may also see predators such as lions, cheetahs, or hyenas.

A highlight of Amboseli is the view of Mount Kilimanjaro, which, on a clear day, can be seen rising above the plains creating an unforgettable and photogenic backdrop. After the game drive, you'll be transferred to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Amboseli to Arusha

Amboseli to Arusha

After breakfast at your camp, set out for an early morning game drive to enjoy a final glimpse of Amboseli’s wildlife. Once the drive is complete, you’ll begin your journey toward the Namanga Border, where you’ll go through immigration and transfer into Tanzania.

From there, continue on to Arusha, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel. Depending on your arrival time and interest, you may have the option to explore Arusha with a short town tour.

The rest of the day is yours to relax and unwind at your accommodation, preparing for the upcoming safari through Tanzania’s famous national parks.

Day 3

Drive to Tarangire National Park

Drive to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up to begin your journey toward Tarangire National Park. Along the way, enjoy a morning game drive as you enter the park. In the afternoon, you’ll stop for lunch at a picnic site, with options available for both meat lovers and vegetarians. Later, you’ll exit the park and head to your lodge for an overnight stay.

Tarangire is known for its open landscape dotted with majestic baobab and acacia trees. It hosts one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in the Northern circuit outside the Serengeti. Expect to see a variety of animals including zebras, cheetahs, giraffes, lions, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, kori bustards, antelopes, and numerous elephants.

You’ll also have the option to join a night game drive to experience the park’s nocturnal wildlife.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast at your lodge in Tarangire, you’ll depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying the scenic drive as you approach this extraordinary natural landmark.

Upon arrival, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive. This unique volcanic caldera is teeming with wildlife, including the Big Five lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino along with flamingos, hippos, and many other fascinating species. The breathtaking landscape offers incredible photo opportunities throughout your safari.

In the late afternoon, you’ll exit the crater and drive to Karatu, where you’ll have dinner and spend the night, resting up for the adventures ahead.

Day 5

Lake Manyara National Park

Start your day with breakfast at your accommodation before setting out for a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Known for its varied landscapes from dense forests and open plains to the shimmering soda lake the park is home to a wide range of wildlife and bird species.

Look out for the famous tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos along the lake’s edge. You may also encounter elephants, baboons, hippos, giraffes, and many colorful birds during your drive.

After an enriching day exploring the park, you’ll head back to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay, preparing you for your onward journey.
