➢ Breakfast at the Hotel.
➢ Full day explore the Ewaso Nyiro River area, a lifeline in the semi-arid landscape. Watch for elephants bathing, crocodiles sunning on the banks, and birdlife such as kingfishers and storks. Drive through the plains to spot the Samburu Special Five Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, gerenuk, and Somali ostrich all adapted to the dry, rugged terrain.
Stop at a scenic picnic site for a bush lunch, enjoying the view of the landscape and possible wildlife sightings in the distance. Continue the game drive in search of herds of elephants, graceful antelopes, and perhaps a sleeping leopard in a tree. Visit viewpoints for photo opportunities. Begin heading back to your lodge with one last slow drive for any animals missed earlier.
