After meeting your safari guide in the morning, you will travel in a 4×4 Toyota Land Cruiser to the Tarangire National Park. The landscape is characterized by open savannah, baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and the life-giving Tarangire River. Many animals gather at the river, including elephants, giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. You might even spot the fringe-eared oryx or the peculiar-looking gerenuk. Tarangire is also home to buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, closely followed by a range of predators including lions.

Ngorongoro Crater game viewing & transfer Serengeti National Park (Western Corridor)

We will drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before descending 610 meters to the grasslands of the crater floor, an area of about 265 square kilometers. Despite its small size, the crater is “Big Five” territory, and the openness of the terrain allows for easy and rewarding game viewing. Spend the day exploring the crater floor, stopping for a picnic amid grazing herds. Formed by a massive volcanic eruption, the world’s largest intact and un-flooded caldera provides a year-round home to an astonishing 25,000 large mammals, including black rhinos, wildebeest, and zebras.

The crater’s forests shelter elephants and buffalo, its wetlands are home to hippos and flamingos, and its predators include lions, jackals, leopards, and caracals.

After lunch, depart the crater and drive to Serengeti National Park. You will arrive at your carefully selected tented camp by mid-afternoon, allowing time to settle in before dinner.

Embark on an exhilarating pursuit of the Great Migration, one of the world’s most spectacular natural events. It is the undisputed highlight of any safari, and a dream come true for wildlife enthusiasts.

Enjoy a picnic while observing the migration. Witness the ground tremble as thousands of hooves pound the earth, with wildebeest and zebras attempting to cross the crocodile-infested Grumeti River in search of grazing and water. Meanwhile, top predators such as crocodiles, lions, and hyenas lie in wait, ready to strike.

Spend the night at the so-called "Migration Lodge," strategically located near the migration to ensure you don’t miss a single moment of the action.

Serengeti NP Searching for the Big Cats & overnight

This entire day is dedicated to game drives in the Serengeti. Home to abundant wildlife such as impalas, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, and hippos, the Serengeti is especially famous for its great migrating herds of zebras and wildebeest. Animal movements are influenced by rainfall and vary from year to year. From April to June, the herds move from the southern grasslands to the western areas dominated by hills and woodlands.

During the longer rainy season from April to June, the herds return to the west. In addition to the migrating herds, there is an opportunity to observe resident predators such as hyenas, crocodiles, cheetahs, and lions, all fulfilling their role in the circle of life.

Enjoy a picnic in the wilderness. After an unforgettable day, return to your carefully selected lodge for relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay on the endless plains.

Explore thick woodlands where elephants feed. Lions may be seen lounging in tree branches. Drive past muddy pools filled with hippos and through mysterious jungles ruled by baboons and monkeys. Along the lakeside, thousands of vibrant flamingos, pelicans, and storks make their summer home.

Enjoy a picnic overlooking the lake. Don’t miss the impressive 400-meter-deep Rift Valley Escarpment, a crack in the earth that stretches for a thousand kilometers across East Africa.
