After a warm welcome, you'll meet your professional safari guide and embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Known as "the park of giants," Tarangire is famous for its vast herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees that dot the landscape. The Tarangire River, a permanent water source, is the lifeblood of the park and attracts a high concentration of wildlife, especially during the dry season.
Your afternoon will be dedicated to a game drive, searching for lion, leopard, cheetah, and a wide array of plains animals like buffalo, zebra, and wildebeest.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, you'll enjoy a final game drive in Tarangire as you make your way out of the park.
The journey continues to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park's varied habitats, from dense groundwater forests to the alkaline shores of the lake, support an incredible variety of wildlife. You'll spend the afternoon on a game drive, with a picnic lunch on the way.
The park is renowned for its tree-climbing lions, though spotting them is a matter of luck. You can also expect to see large troops of baboons, blue monkeys, and a rich diversity of birdlife, including thousands of flamingos that often create a pink shimmer on the lake's surface.
As the day draws to a close, you'll drive to a mid-range lodge in the scenic Karatu area, a town situated between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater, offering stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere.

Day 3

Today, you'll head to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park.
The drive is an adventure in itself, taking you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and offering breathtaking views of the highlands. Along the way, you can choose to make an optional stop at the Olduvai Gorge, a significant paleoanthropological site often called the "Cradle of Mankind." Your first game drive will begin as soon as you enter the Serengeti, a Maasai word for "endless plains." You'll be immediately immersed in the vast, iconic landscapes teeming with wildlife.
This evening, you'll arrive at your mid-range tented camp in the Central Serengeti (Seronera region), a prime location for year-round wildlife viewing due to the Seronera River, which provides a vital water source. You'll be surrounded by the sounds of the African bush as you settle in for dinner.

Two full days dedicated to exploring the wonders of the Serengeti.
The schedule is flexible and can be tailored to your interests, but a typical day includes both morning and afternoon game drives. The early morning hours are a fantastic time to spot predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs as they are most active. You'll return to your camp for a midday break and lunch before heading out again in the afternoon.
Depending on the time of year, you may be able to witness a part of the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras move in search of greener pastures. Even outside of the migration, the Serengeti's resident wildlife population is staggering, with huge herds of giraffes, elephants, and various antelope species.
The evening ends with a delicious dinner at your camp, sharing stories of the day's sightings around a campfire.

After a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, you'll begin your journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
The drive will take you back through the scenic highlands, with the opportunity for one last look at the Serengeti's endless plains. You'll ascend the Ngorongoro Crater rim, a truly spectacular sight. Your accommodation for the next two nights will be a mid-range lodge situated either on the rim or in the nearby town of Karatu, offering a unique perspective of the Ngorongoro Highlands.
Upon arrival, you'll have time to relax, soak in the panoramic views, and prepare for your full-day exploration of the crater tomorrow. This is a day for scenic travel and anticipation, as you move from one iconic ecosystem to another.

Day 7

This is the day you descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a truly breathtaking natural wonder.
With its massive floor covering over 260 square kilometers, the crater is often referred to as "Africa's Eden." The high concentration of wildlife within its walls means you have an excellent chance of spotting the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and the rare black rhino) in a single day. You will spend the entire day on the crater floor, enjoying game drives and a picnic lunch by a hippo pool.
After a day of exploration, you will ascend the crater and travel to the more remote and culturally rich area of Lake Eyasi. This destination offers a stark contrast to the wildlife-focused safari and provides a deep dive into the lives of Tanzania's indigenous tribes.
Your afternoon will be spent settling into your mid-range lodge near the lake and preparing for tomorrow's cultural immersion.

Day 8

An early start today for a truly unique and humbling experience.
You'll meet with a local Hadzabe tribe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer communities in Africa. You'll have the incredible opportunity to join them on a morning hunt, learning about their ancient traditions, survival skills, and their click-based language. This is not a staged performance but an authentic interaction.
Later in the day, you will visit the Datoga tribe, a pastoral community of skilled blacksmiths, where you'll witness their metalworking skills and learn about their way of life. This day is all about human connection and understanding a way of life that is rapidly disappearing.
After a day of profound cultural experiences, you will began your journey back to Arusha, upon arrival in Arusha, you will be transferred to a local airport for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar.

Your first two full days in Zanzibar is dedicated to exploring the island's unique history and stunning natural beauty.
We recommend starting with a guided tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Wander through the labyrinthine streets, discovering the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, the former Slave Market, and the bustling Darajani Market.
The rich history and blend of African, Arab, Indian, and European cultures are palpable. In the afternoon, you can choose from a range of activities. A popular option is a spice tour, where you'll visit a local farm to learn about the various spices that have made Zanzibar famous or you can stay at the island's most beautiful beache of Nungwi or Kendwa to enjoy the sun and the stunning ocean views.

After a final lunch, you will be transferred back to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) for your departure, taking with you a wealth of memories from both the wild plains of the safari and the enchanting shores of Zanzibar.
