Arriving in time for lunch, you’ll check in at Samburu Sopa Lodge and later enjoy your first afternoon game drive. Today is dedicated to exploring the remote and striking landscapes of Samburu National Reserve, a unique wilderness in northern Kenya known for its arid beauty and rare wildlife. The day begins with an early morning game drive, the best time to witness predators on the move and herbivores feeding in the soft dawn light. As you traverse the rugged terrain—marked by rocky hills, open savannah, and doum palm-lined riverbanks.

Arriving in time for lunch, you'll settle into Sweetwaters Serana Camp before embarking on an afternoon game drive across this rich and diverse ecosystem.

Spend a full day immersed in the natural and conservation wonders of Ol Pejeta Conservancy. After an early breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, where you’ll meet rescued chimpanzees and learn about their stories and the sanctuary’s vital rescue work.

Continue with a morning game drive, offering prime opportunities to spot elephants, lions, buffalo, and possibly leopards in the cooler hours. After a relaxing lunch back at camp, the afternoon opens up to more game viewing across the reserve’s varied landscapes.

After breakfast, depart Ol Pejeta and journey through central Kenya’s rolling hills and scenic farmlands, descending into the dramatic Great Rift Valley. By midday, you’ll arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park, a compact yet wildlife-rich sanctuary centered around a shallow alkaline lake.

After checking in and enjoying lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge, set out on an afternoon game drive. The park is famous for its strong population of both black and white rhinos, often seen grazing near the lake or under the shade of acacia trees. Keep an eye out for the rare and endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, lions resting in the grasslands, and leopards occasionally spotted in the forested areas.

The lake also hostS large flocks of flamingos, creating a stunning pink fringe along the shoreline. With its diverse habitats and excellent visibility, Nakuru offers rich wildlife encounters in just a few hours. After the evening you will to Lake Nakuru Lodge for dinner and overninght stay.
