After breakfast, depart Amboseli and head toward the Namanga border, where you cross into Tanzania. Continue to Arusha, the vibrant safari capital at the foot of Mount Meru. Spend the afternoon relaxing at your lodge or exploring the town. Overnight in Arusha.

Today you drive to Tarangire National Park, often called the “home of elephants.” The landscape is dotted with majestic baobab trees, and the park is alive with elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, and over 500 species of birds. Depending on the season, you may witness the park’s mini-migration of wildebeest and zebra. After a full day of game viewing, continue to Karatu, a lush highland town, for overnight.

Descend 600 meters into this natural amphitheater, where wildlife is concentrated like nowhere else.
