Drive to Lake Natron
After breakfast, travel through remote Maasai land and striking volcanic scenery to Lake Natron, a place of raw, other-worldly beauty. From June to November, nearly two million flamingos gather here, painting the lake pink. Along the way, stop at natural hot springs before arriving at Africa Safari Lake Natron. Visit the Engaresero Footprint Site, where over 400 fossilized hominid footprints, 5,000–19,000 years old, reveal ancient behaviours—some appear to jog, others show unusual toes, and many indicate groups of women and children travelling together. This remarkable site offers a rare glimpse into human history amid stunning landscapes.

Join a Maasai guide for a Flamingo Walk at Lake Natron, where endangered lesser flamingos paint the alkaline waters pink. Hike to waterfalls, passing villages and wild scenery, then visit the Engaresero Footprint Site, with over 400 fossilized hominid tracks revealing ancient life.
